Matthew 7:7-11

7 “Keep on asking, and you will be given what you ask for. Keep on looking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened. 8 For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And the door is opened to everyone who knocks. 9 You parents—if your children ask for a loaf of bread, do you give them a stone instead? 10 Or if they ask for a fish, do you give them a snake? Of course not! 11 If you sinful people know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask him.

ASK: Peter asked the Lord to bid him come and He walked on water. When He took His eyes off the Lord He sank and he ASKED again Lord save me!

be willing to get out of our boats. The boat of tradition, the boat of low expectations, whatever you boat is, I want to encourage you get out of the boat. Not only do I want to encourage you to get out of the boat, but also want you to remember whatever happens move toward Jesus. When you have problems in your home, and problems on your job go to Jesus. We must keep our focus on Jesus and not allow ourselves to lapse and collapse.

The key is we must ASK. “That which we hear the Father speak we can step out of our boats in confedence.

Matt. 7:24 - 24“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of

Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who

built his house on the rock:

THE PASSAGE WE ARE ABOUT TO SHARE IS ONE WE NEED TO ACT UPON!

Luke 5:1-11

1 One day as Jesus was preaching on the shore of the Sea of Galilee, great crowds pressed in on him to listen to the word of God. 2 He noticed two empty boats at the water’s edge, for the fishermen had left them and were washing their nets. 3 Stepping into one of the boats, Jesus asked Simon, its owner, to push it out into the water. So he sat in the boat and taught the crowds from there.

4 When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Now go out where it is deeper and let down your nets, and you will catch many fish.”

5 “Master,” Simon replied, “we worked hard all last night and didn’t catch a thing. But if you say so, we’ll try again.” 6 And this time their nets were so full they began to tear! 7 A shout for help brought their partners in the other boat, and soon both boats were filled with fish and on the verge of sinking.

8 When Simon Peter realized what had happened, he fell to his knees before Jesus and said, “Oh, Lord, please leave me—I’m too much of a sinner to be around you.” 9 For he was awestruck by the size of their catch, as were the others with him.

When we hear what the Lord says and do it! This will be our response. “HE WAS AWESTRUCK! He fell on his lknees in Worship.

1. If we want to SUCCEED at anything, we must “LAUNCH OUT INTO THE DEEP.”

a. BUSINESS

-Spend money to make money.

-Expand: increasing stock, larger building, better location, hiring more employees, etc.

b. EDUCATION (Master Degree or Ph.D.)

-Take difficult courses (more hours)

-Change schools (better education)

-Pay higher tuition

c. HOME

--Go in debt to buy a house

COMMENT:

If we want to reach our OBJECTIVES and GROW in whatever we do, we must LAUNCH OUT INTO THE DEEP. If we aren’t willing to LAUNCH OUT, we cannot be SUCCESSFUL. It’s impossible to better ourselves in any area of our lives without LAUNCHING OUT.

2. LAUNCHING OUT INTO THE DEEP requires FAITH!

a. We don’t know what’s on the other side, but through FAITH we see ourselves ACHIEVING at whatever endeavor we pursue.

Peter would never seen the abundant supply of the Lord, if He hadnt launched out.

Peter would never have walked on water if He hadnt stepped out

Peter would never have seen 3000 saved on the day of Pentecost if He hadnt spoken out

Peter would never have seen the Gentiles saved if he hadnt stepped into the Spirit

I believe that god wants to show us more of His glory in these last days

The glory of the latter house shall be greater than the former.

Ephesians 1:3 How we praise God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we belong to Christ.

The Lords prayer: verse 2 gives us an insight into Gods will for the boby of Christ.
