Stephen: His Life & His Love Pt. 3; By Dr. E. Winson Butler

Summary: Just because you are following a well marked trail doesn’t mean that whoever made it knew where they were going. Stephen knew who to follow and why. Let’s examine this one man’s Godly example!
Introduction
While living in TN we enjoyed visiting Bays Mt. Wolves, beaver, wild life was abundant. Most of all, there were plenty of Mountain trails. One could walk for miles. There was a sign at the entrance that said, "Marked Trails."
Those were the ones we took, however one wise member of my Church cautioned us, "Just cause you’re following a well marked trail don’t mean that whoever made it knew where they were going.."
Good advice to follow!
All of us either make a trail or mark ones as a Christian and others do follow them. Sometimes though, this isn’t a guaruntee that we know where were going. We should check everything out first.
Stephen made his mark as an early leader in the Church. One any of us can follow. His life was impecable. His loves was unimpeachable. Now let’s examine His Look!

Conclusion: Stephen, a man whose example we can follow!
