Good morning, family of Christ. We're diving into the deep end today with a heavy, but vital topic: Living in Holiness, Resisting Temptation, and Focusing on God's Word. It's not easy, but it's so worth it. The great Christian author, A.W. Tozer, once said, "Holiness, as taught in the Scriptures, is not based upon knowledge on our part. Rather, it is based upon the resurrected Christ indwelling us and changing us into His likeness."
Let's turn to our scripture today, 1 Peter 1:13-16: "Therefore, with minds that are alert and fully sober, set your hope on the grace to be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed at his coming. As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: 'Be holy, because I am holy.'"
