How Can I Grow Spiritually
I always liked to look at John 3:30 as a mathematic equation
1. Spiritual Growth = is the process
of becoming more and more like
Jesus Christ. When we place our
faith in Jesus, the Holy Spirit
begins the process of making us
more like Him, conforming us to
His image and likeness.
2. More of Jesus
- Stay planted in The House of
God (Psalm 92:12-14)
- Hunger and thirst for more of
Jesus (Matthew 5:6)
- be an imitator of Jesus Christ
(1 Corinthians 11:1)
- Use the gifts God gave you
(1 Timothy 4:11-15)
- Study your Bible regularly
(1 Peter 2:1-3)
3. Less of Self
- Keep moving forward and don’t
give up (Job 17:9)
- Take off the old man and put on
the new (Ephesians 4:22-24)
- Endure those tests of faith
(James 1:2-4)
- Put forth your best effort
(2 Peter 1:5-8)
