6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.
I. THE PROMISE in Soul-winning
Psalms 126:5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.
A. It is a certain promise shall reap
B. It is a cheerful promise shall reap in joy.
C. It is a conditional promise They that sow in tears
II. THE PROBLEM in Soul-winning "He that goeth forth"
Matthew 9:37 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;
A. THE PROBLEM of the Father - He is willing and wanting us to go
B. THE PROBLEM of the Field - It is white and waiting for us to go

1. The miracle of the new birth it's a SUPERNATURAL event!

It is the seed of the Gospel - a message (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) 1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
V. THE PERSUASION in Soul-winning "shall doubtless"
Gal 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
A. The responsibility is plain - to sow the seed
B. The results are promised - "doubtless" "we SHALL reap"
VI. THE PLEASURE in Soul-winning "with rejoicing"
1 Thess 2:19 For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?
A. For ourselves, for God's will has been accomplished
B. For others, because God's wrath has been avoided
VII. THE PROOF in Soul-winning "bringing his sheaves with him"
John 21:10 Jesus saith unto them, Bring of the fish which ye have now caught.
