Summary: Every action in life requires some amount of faith. From entering a car to eating in a hotel thinking it is safe. What you believe comes out as faith when you practice. Lets us see the significance of faith in this outline.

Many people as much as they practice faith in other areas of life, do not enrich in the spiritual realm. Faith is only as good as the object in which one places his faith. It is something one learns and grows with it. Are you faithful to God? Almost everyone would say, "yes" which is not true.

It is important to enrich as Christians. Faith enables one to go beyond their capacity in life. From Abram to Abraham Gen 17 (being just the father to father of many nations), from a slave to a prime minister of a Nation, from a shepherd to a leader of a 20lac people. And the list goes on, in the bible, about the people whose life grew beyond their expectations.

Jesus told his disciples, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you” (Mt 17:20)

Faith helps us to go beyond where were are, to what God has planned for us. Faith helps us to enter into the promised life never ever we have imagined.

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for..." (Heb 11:1) Faith is a gift from God, that which gives one the strength to move ahead with hope, but without any need for evidence. Just like how one eats in a hotel, believing the food is safe, and hygiene, God's children those who have faith move ahead into the promise.

This gift is received, by hearing the word of God (Rom 1017). Paul, the Apostle from the early church, writes to Romans, "so then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Faith doesn't come through a motivational speech, powerful testimonies, or any other man-made speech... They all are temporary-faith, and it will disappear when trouble comes. Faith that comes from hearing the word of God stays permanent.
