WE ARE TO SERVE GOD BY ALLOWING FELLOW-BELIEVERS THE FREEDOM TO BELIEVE DIFFERENTLY, DESPITE OUR DIFFERENCE OF OPINION
1. We Must Accept Fellow-Believers Despite Our Differences of Opinion (:1-3)
a. Problem -- strong in faith vs. weak
b. Specific cultural example
c. Our Attitude = spirit of acceptance
1) weak has tendency to condemn
2) strong has tendency to despise or look with contempt
d. Reason = God has accepted him
2. We Must Allow Fellow-Believers the Freedom to be Accountable to God and Not to Us (:4-12)
