  • Are We Holy?

Contributed by Roy Fowler on Oct 17, 2020
     | 1,255 views

    Many misunderstand what Holy is.

For many American evangelicals, "holiness" conjures up musty images of revival meetings, gospel trios, and old-time religion—along with stern prohibitions against drinking, dancing, and playing cards. And many are happy to leave these notions of holiness in the past. Yet even in our era ...read more

  • We Are Family

Contributed by Steve Taylor on Nov 20, 2019
     | 11,199 views

Brothers and sisters, we can experience the wonder of family or we can dismiss the moments of real love that comes with it. Let’s not let days like thanksgiving be the only time families gather around and share those special moments.

Brothers and sisters, last week we talked about being thankful for the things that we have, and for the life that we share. Well part of that life that we share is with family. AMEN Now, by family I don’t necessarily mean family by some blood DNA, but family as “God’s Family”. If you really ...read more

  • Are We Surrendered?

Contributed by Caleb Sowers on May 9, 2019
    based on 3 ratings

From 1908 to 2018, the Church of the Nazarene grew from 10,000 members to 2.5 million. They surrendered. They heard the call, the Great Commission given to every Christian, and they submitted. I think this is the problem that Christianity in general is facing today. Christians stopped surrendering.

The Church Manual states that “The Church of the Nazarene recognizes all believers are called to minister to all people.” I love that statement. I love it because it really sums up how the Church of the Nazarene from its earliest days really felt the burden of the Great Commission and from the ...read more
