The Light of God appears, falls upon individuals, and shines at events when Heaven and Earth meet. This meeting between Heaven and Earth, God and his people, happens more often than we think. The Light falls upon us and bathes us even though we may not see it unless we are in direct union with God.

A Mountain Top Experience

The Transfiguration, yes is a moment of intimacy with God but more. If at Mt. Hermon demonstrates His power over the realm of Satan which began with Peter's confession "You are the Christ" and concludes with Jesus driving out the demonic from the boy.
