All Saints and All Souls are the Church triumphant in Heaven in union with us, the church militant, on earth. There is a deep bond between the two communities, and we join them in Heaven to worship and praise God unceasingly when we come to worship God.

To my understanding, there are three Church festivals that we celebrate grandly, far from knowing what is being genuinely celebrated. They are Christmas, Easter, and Halloween. St. Augustine noted that every person has a God shaped hole in his or her soul. People attempt to fill that cavity with lots of things but Jesus the true bread from heaven. Deep in every human soul is a search for “Harmony” with our Creator, that was lost in the Garden of Eden.
