Before Jesus' time, rabbis separated miracles into two categories, those anyone empowered by the Holy Spirit could perform and miracles called ‘messianic miracles’ which only the Messiah could perform . Jesus demonstrated He was Messiah by the Sanhedrin's theology and teaching.
