The beginning of the Church year (Fall) and all of its activities calls for a renewal of commitment and repentance to do the Lord’s work. This Psalm is a call to worship and a call to battle for the church and its ministries.

Psalm 24 speaks of the ascension of Christ. It is known as the Psalm of the crown.
