John The Baptist Shows How In The Wilderness, God Uses Harsh Mercy To Feed Our Deepest Spiritual Hunger.

God used John the Baptist because the people were spiritually hungry, and longed for something real. John was harsh but hopeful, and used the wilderness, to renew Gods people through honesty and humility.
