Most action movies have some aspect of revenge in their storyline. When the bad guy finally gets killed, I agree with the hero as he says, “The guy was a jerk and deserved everything he got!” Am I the only one? Jesus challenges my thinking!

What does this mean? Are supposed to be angry? Of course the phrasing is in Old English from the 1600's and newer translations put it this way, "In your anger do not sin." Is such a feat even possible? What does God's Holy Word say?

The Reversal Of Revenge

The religious leaders of the world can quote their wise and holy men in ways that show they too have many of the values of the Sermon on the Mount. But they have nothing to match the teachings of Christ on the love of one's enemies.
