We find, when Pilate called Jesus in for judgment, that it wasn't Jesus who was on trial, but Pilate! Imagine how it will be at the Great White Throne Judgment when Pilate stands before the King of Kings in blazing splendor! How terrible it will be!

Who is in control at Christ's trial? Pilate wanted to release Jesus but changed his mind. Caiaphas effectively blackmails Pilate into doing his will in getting rid of Jesus. But Jesus remains cool, charm and collective. The crowd who are stirred up in demanding the death of Jesus.
