Jesus taught his disciples to set their minds on divine things such as denying themselves and taking up their crosses to follow him. He added to that statements about "losing" our lives and to not be ashamed of the Gospel. What does all this mean?

Jesus lived out and taught us how to become great in the Kingdom of God. We not only deny ourselves, pick up our cross and follow Jesus, but humble ourselves to become servant to all.
