The crossing of the Jordan River reminded us of the need to have a heart to follow God, a faith to believe Him fully, and the courage to act on His Word. God will do His amazing works, very often, beyond what we can see or imagine.

Book of Joshua is about faith. The Israelites had approached the Jordan River in transition from wandering in a desert to dwelling in a new land. Greater blessings awaited them but with greater battles. Victory comes to God when His people trust and obey.
