A Follower Or A Fan?

A good Fan just shows up for the weekly event. Good Fans do that you know! And they will stay a Fan as long as it benefits them. A Follower of Jesus will follow. They will follow him even when there is a crisis, even when they do not fully understand.

Farewell Address -- Kissing Frogs

Farewell Address at dinner by the Parish for my wife Lee and I. It has some humor yet I believe it touches the heart of who we are called to be in Christ. At the end I passed out 125 Red Wax Lips and and 125 signs that state "I Kiss Frogs" with a picture of a frog with big red lips.

We can all obey and be willing to step out/up when God calls. We are not called to understand or know all the details – but we are called to GO and make disciples. Moses is a great example and encouragement of how to obey today.

Moses was calling Pharaoh to know God, to repent, to turn to God. Jesus offers us the same call today – to lead us to know the Father. Only He offers us chance to be forgiven and redeemed.
