Everyone has a choice to either do evil for evil or to repay evil with good. The latter is a godly decision which God approves of and the way Jesus exemplified. When our children are taught this when young, they will grow up to always do good no matter what evil is done to them.
We read in Genesis 4:1, Now Adam knew Eve his wife, and she conceived and bore Cain, and said, “I have acquired a man from the LORD.” (NKJV)
