The Sabbath reminds us of our need for rest. God gave the Sabbath to Israel and through Jesus God gives us a Sabbath rest as well.

Acts 12 has both answered and unanswered prayers within it. We tend to like it better when we get a "yes" from heaven, but God might actually be doing greater things for us when the answer is "no."
