Not all messages that a preacher preaches get finished. Many factors come into play that can interrupt the sermon. Some are from the enemy; yet sometimes it is God Himself that intrudes for a more lofty reason.

A New Person In Christ

When we accept Christ as our Saviour and walk with him in faith, we get an extreme makeover. God allows us to become new again. Beyond forgiveness, beyond cleansing, he makes us holy through Jesus Christ.

We can’t convert the world from its emphasis on self to a life in Christ unless we are united in purpose-unless we love one another. When we ignore the will of God in order to have our own way, the result is discord and disunity. Unity begins with us.

Let The Light Shine Upon Us

In the Anglican Church, we do not have altar calls, spelled “A-L-T-A-R”, but Jesus always issues an altar call, spelled “A-L-T-E-R”. He calls on us to change our lives for a better fit. He calls on us to change habits that drag us down.

Jesus, The True Faith Healer

We have to take a risk by reaching out to Jesus in faith for healing. Jesus can release us from our suffering and then use our story to encourage others.

The Light That Leads The Way

Only by wading into the life that Christ offers and letting it wash away our sins, our false identity, our injustice and selfishness, our commitment to violence will we be recognized and worship the One who is coming in Bethlehem.

We must remember what it was like before Jesus came into our lives with his presence and power. We must never forget. We must never lose sight of where we were when he came and just how far he has brought us.

Spiritual Hunger

We must ask ourselves, “What are my hungers? Where have I gone to satisfy them and where have those choices led me? " Thank goodness Jesus provides an alternative that is healthy for us both physically and spiritually.

Solitude And Prayer Help Us To Do God’s Work

We need to be motivated by what God calls us to do and not by what other people expect us to do. We have to do God’s will even if it doesn’t please people. God’s message is not in sync with the rest of the world.

Jesus does not protect those he loves from bad things happening, but uses bad things to fulfill his plans for our lives. When we suffer, he is glad not because we are suffering, but because through suffering we have the chance to grow in faith.
