This passage tells us about God’s promise to Abraham. God made an unconditional promise with great significance for us today. When Paul writes this he is referring to Genesis 12:2-3. It is God’s promise to Abraham and as we will see for all who believe.

It is wrong when freedom is abused. Love is what balances grace. Spiritual liberty is not a license to indulge the sinful nature. Rather it is a call to serve one another in love. It was for freedom that Christ set you free. You were called to be free.
