Summary: Father God is unseen and lives in the secret place (one of the places of Father God). Father God is unseen, yet the eyes of our heart can see Him through His actions and deeds.

But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. Matthew 6:6(NIV)

But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. Matthew 6:6 (NKJV)

Father God is unseen and lives in the secret place (one of the places of Father God). Father God is unseen, yet the eyes of our heart can see Him through His actions and deeds. Only that our physical eyes cannot see him, but our hearts can fully see Him, His Love, His mercy, His rewards, and fully experience Him. Father God is unseen in the secret place, but we can build a healthy relationship with Him. Once we enter the secret place or close the room , it’s not we who build a healthy relationship with Him, but He builds a healthy relationship with us. Once we enter the secret place, He completely takes over us. His eyes fall on us, creating a way to know and experience Him. His eyes fall on us and we can look back at him.

He talks to us, and we can talk back to him. We might not see him, but His presence permeates or fills the entire room or secret place. Father God becomes so real in the secret place. He sees our prayers and rewards them accordingly. He hears our words and cry in the secret place. He sees you and will take action on your behalf.

Seeing Father God itself is a reward for being in the secret place. Seeing the unseen Father who sees us, is the reward of the secret place. Just like Job saw God in Job 42:5 – “My ears had heard of you but now my eyes have seen you”, we will go on a journey from hearing God to seeing God. The secret place is full of Father God. Every inch of the secret place is filled with Father God and He is readily available there. A secret place is not a physical room, but rather a place or position where we close or shut the door of our hearts to all earthly things like needs, wants and desires.

It can be any place where we have closed or shut the door for all worldly things, including social media.

A place where we close all the doors for all earthly things is a secret place. Jesus had a secret place where He met Father God every night. Do you have a secret place where you meet your Father God on a daily basis? You can transform a place into a secret place area by closing all doors( for all earthly things), and Father God is instantly present in it. Your job is to make a secret place, and Father God will do the rest - He will make His habitation in it. If you have not created a secret place, make one today by closing all doors.

Closing all the doors is impossible with your own strength; you must rely on the help of the Holy Spirit. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you in closing all doors and creating a secret place; once the secret place is prepared, Father God is ready to come. The secret place is where the unseen Father God becomes an approachable, compassionate Father. It is the place where we begin to live in Father God, under His safety, always drawing from Him for all our needs, lost in Him, and our being is in Him. Our being and existence will be so caught up with Father God in the secret place. He sees us as His own and blesses us as His own.

A secret place is a closed place with all earthly doors are closed, but there is one heavenly door open to know and experience Father God. Enter through this door to know and experience the vast love of the Father God. Our Father is in heaven, and He is also in the secret place. He is waiting, like the prodigal father, for you to return to the secret place. Make your way to the secret place, where the Father God is waiting for you. Our Father is in heaven and in the secret place, waiting for you to come to him.
