INTRODUCTION:
In this fourth part of the series, we will examine how to handle the opportunities that come with supernatural breakthrough and how to establish permanent victory in the face of challenges. Supernatural breakthroughs often bring about new seasons, challenges, and opportunities, and it is important to know how to manage these to maintain the victory. This message will empower you to step into your breakthrough and walk in the fullness of God's plan.
1. RECOGNISING AND SEIZING OPPORTUNITIES IN YOUR BREAKTHROUGH
a) Opportunities for Expansion (Isaiah 54:2-3)
Breakthroughs open up new territories. You must be ready to expand and take possession of new territories God is giving you.
b) Opportunities for Ministry and Service (Matthew 28:18-20)
Your breakthrough is not just for personal gain, but to serve others and build God's kingdom.
c) Opportunities for Increase and Prosperity (Proverbs 4:18)
God grants you supernatural breakthrough to increase in wealth, influence, and prosperity. Seize every opportunity He gives to thrive.
d) Opportunities for Relationship and Favor (1 Samuel 18:1-4)
New seasons of favor bring new relationships and alliances that will propel you forward. Recognize and nurture them.
e) Biblical Example: David's Victory Over the Philistines (2 Samuel 5:20)
David recognized the opportunity when God gave him victory over the Philistines, establishing his kingdom and expanding his influence.
2. STANDING FIRM IN THE MIDST OF CONTINUED CHALLENGES
a) Knowing Your Authority in Christ (Luke 10:19)
Understand the authority you have in Christ. You are not fighting for victory but from a position of victory.
b) Facing Challenges with Boldness (1 Samuel 17:45-47)
When challenges arise, face them boldly, knowing that the Lord is on your side. The same God who gave you victory before will do it again.
c) Persevering Through Difficult Times (Galatians 6:9)
Don’t grow weary. God’s promise is that you will reap if you do not faint.
d) Maintaining Your Focus on the Goal (Philippians 3:13-14)
Despite challenges, keep your focus on the vision God has given you. The prize is worth the effort.
e) Biblical Example: Paul’s Perseverance (2 Corinthians 4:8-10)
Paul faced numerous challenges in his ministry but never gave up. He recognized that his challenges were part of his purpose.
3. ALIGNING YOURSELF WITH GOD’S TIMING FOR FULL MANIFESTATION
a) God’s Timing Is Perfect (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8)
Trust in God's perfect timing. Breakthroughs come when they are most needed, not necessarily when you want them.
b) Waiting for God’s Approval (Psalm 37:4-5)
Commit your ways to the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart. Trust His approval for timing in everything.
c) Recognizing Divine Appointments (Acts 16:9-10)
God orders your steps. Be sensitive to the divine appointments that will take your breakthrough to the next level.
d) Season of Preparation Leads to Fulfillment (Isaiah 40:31)
Use your waiting time wisely. Let it be a season of preparation for greater things ahead.
e) Biblical Example: Jesus’ Timing (John 2:4-5)
Jesus waited for the right moment to perform His first miracle at the wedding in Cana, demonstrating the importance of divine timing.
4. RELEASING YOUR BREAKTHROUGH THROUGH DECLARATION AND ACTION
a) Speaking to the Mountain (Mark 11:23-24)
Declare the manifestation of your breakthrough through words. Speak to your challenges, and they must obey.
b) Stepping Out in Faith (Matthew 14:29)
Faith without works is dead. Act on the Word you have received, stepping out in faith to see your breakthrough come to fruition.
c) Declaring the Word of God Over Your Situation (Isaiah 55:11)
The Word of God does not return void. Declare His promises over your breakthrough and see them come to pass.
d) Acting According to the Word Given (James 2:26)
Your breakthrough requires your action. When God speaks, act upon His Word, even when it seems impossible.
e) Biblical Example: The Israelites Crossing the Red Sea (Exodus 14:15-16)
When God spoke, Moses acted in faith and stretched out his hand over the sea. The Israelites walked on dry land because of that act of faith.
5. GUARDING AND MAINTAINING YOUR BREAKTHROUGH
a) Staying Humble After Breakthrough (Proverbs 15:33)
Humility is key to maintaining your breakthrough. Pride goes before a fall, but humility attracts God’s continuous favor.
b) Not Returning to Old Habits (2 Corinthians 5:17)
Don’t go back to your old ways after experiencing breakthrough. Live according to the new life you’ve received.
c) Keeping the Fire of the Spirit Alive (2 Timothy 1:6)
Keep the fire of God alive in your heart through prayer, fasting, and a life of dedication.
d) Surrounding Yourself with Godly Counsel (Proverbs 11:14)
Surround yourself with people who will encourage you to keep moving forward in your breakthrough.
e) Biblical Example: Nehemiah’s Guarding of Jerusalem’s Wall (Nehemiah 4:13-17)
