V. THESIS:
The coming KING, which is the KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS is the SCEPTER of Righteousness which is to come
VI. TITLE:
Scepter Of Righteousness
VII. EXPLICATION:
Scepter came from Hebrew word "shebet" (shay-bet) meaning "to branch off", a stick used for punishing, writing, fighting, ruling, walking, staff" and Greek word "rhabdos" (hrab-dos) meaning a stick, a wand, a cane, a baton of royalty
VIII. MAIN BODY:
A. GOD, the Father endures forever and ever and so His Throne (Psalms 45:6, Genesis 49:10)
1. Jacob symbolizing voice of GOD, the Father have prophesied that the LORD JESUS CHRIST (scepter of Judah) will not leave or depart Judah.
Genesis 49:10 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)
The scepter will not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from his descendants, until the coming of the one to whom it belongs, the one whom all nations will honor.
a. It was fulfilled because the LORD JESUS CHRIST is also called Son of David (from Judah) (Matthew 21:9, Matthew 20:30)
Matthew 21:9 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)
Jesus was in the center of the procession, and the people all around him were shouting, “Praise God for the Son of David! Blessings on the one who comes in the name of the Lord! Praise God in highest heaven!”
Matthew 20:30 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)
Two blind men were sitting beside the road. When they heard that Jesus was coming that way, they began shouting, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!”
b. The LORD JESUS CHRIST was prophesied by prophet Balaam, to arise from Judah and will destroy the heads of Moab (sin) (Numbers 24:17)
Numbers 24:17 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)
I see him, but not here and now. I perceive him, but far in the distant future. A star will rise from Jacob; a scepter will emerge from Israel. It will crush the foreheads of Moab’s people, cracking the skulls of the people of Sheth.
B. GOD, the Father rules with a scepter (LORD JESUS CHRIST) (Psalms 45:6, Psalms 2:9, Revelation 2:27)
1. GOD, the Father is in the throne while GOD, the Son is on the earth and the Father rules the earth thru the Son, the iron rod is the scepter which is the LORD JESUS CHRIST.
Psalms 2:9 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

Revelation 2:27 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)
They will rule the nations with an iron rod and smash them like clay pots.
Revelation 12:5 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)

A. her child symbolizes the church which was raptured later on.
C. Illustration: King Artaxerxes symbolizes GOD, the Father, Esther symbolizes as the Christians, Scepter is the LORD JESUS CHRIST
Queen Esther was able to do anything as long as the scepter is held out towards her by the king. (Esther 4:11, Esther 5:2, Esther 8:4)
Esther 4:11 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)
“All the king’s officials and even the people in the provinces know that anyone who appears before the king in his inner court without being invited is doomed to die unless the king holds out his gold scepter. And the king has not called for me to come to him for thirty days.”
Esther 5:2 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)
When he saw Queen Esther standing there in the inner court, he welcomed her and held out the gold scepter to her. So Esther approached and touched the end of the scepter.
Esther 8:4 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)
Again the king held out the gold scepter to Esther. So she rose and stood before him.
IX. CONCLUSION:
The coming KING, which is the KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS is the SCEPTER of Righteousness which is to come (Revelation 19:15)
Revelation 19:15 (New Living Translation, Second Edition)
From his mouth came a sharp sword to strike down the nations. He will rule them with an iron rod. He will release the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty, like juice flowing from a winepress.
