“Satisfying Water”

Text: John 4:14

“But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.”

Introduction:

Water is the only drink that can quench your thirst quickly on a hot summer day. Yesterday I was visiting a man in the nursing home who was wanting a ice cold glass of water but he could not have any because of his physical condition. My heart went out for the man. While thinking about it my mind was drown to two passages of scripture. The one is our text for this morning and the other is found in Luke chapter 16 verses 22 through 31. What a sad account of water in Luke's sixteenth chapter.

Water at times seems to be magical. It is used a lot in everyday life. God used water to heal. Jesus used water to heal, make wine and make people think. Why is water so satisfying? Let us take a look at some reasons this morning.

1.True water is Pure.

2.True water is Natural.

3.True water is Refreshing.

4.True water is Relaxing.

5.True water is Cleaning.

6.True water is Sufficient.

Conclusion:

Have you tasted of this water? If you have not tasted of this water you should. It will quench your every thirst. Are you satisfied? If not you can be for this water of life can satisfy completely.
