Right And Left Hand Of God Series

Ephesians 2:5-6 Even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,

It is there in Christ Jesus at the right hand of God that we are positioned with God, to see as He sees, the things at His right hand becoming the things at our right hand.

Matthew 25:31-46 “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. 32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. 33 And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; 36 I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’ 37 “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? 38 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? 39 Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ 40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, in as much as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’

The Kingdom of God has been prepared for the righteous since the beginning of time. This Kingdom is not a distant land adorned with luxurious palaces, streets paved with gold, splendid manors, dazzling nightgowns, suits, wings, and harps, where idleness prevails for eternity.

This is a majestic kingdom now. And by it being a kingdom, it signifies governance and progress in every conceivable form. It indicates the elevation of numerous individuals to a higher spiritual level than they have ever experienced before. It entails labour, accountability, a designated place for service, and the authority to bestow blessings. The Right hand of God.

Not much is said about the left hand of God or what it symbolizes.

The Hebrew word for "left" is "smowl" meaning DARK. It gives the idea of wrapping up or properly dark the north by Orientation, the left-hand

God is a perfect Father who not only gives gifts that we determine are good gifts. He also gives discipline which we do not always think is so good.

Proverbs 3:12 For whom the Lord loves He corrects, just as a father the son in whom he delights.

Hebrews 12:3-11 For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls. 4 You have not yet resisted to bloodshed, striving against sin. 5 And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons:

“My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord, nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him; 6 For whom the Lord loves He chastens, And scourges every son whom He receives.”
