Riding A Tiger's Tale

Movement 1.

Idea: People have been told for years that there is not a reason to continue on with their dreams in life.

Development: Einstein could not speak until he was four, and did not read until he was seven. Beethoven's music teacher said that he was a hopeless composer. Tomas Edison when younger was told by his teachers that he was so stupid that he could not learn anything. Walt Disney was once fired because was told he didn't have any created ideas.

Frame: All of these great people wouldn't allow their rocky starts to hamper their growth.

Movement 2.

Idea, Even during the harsh times when the ride is rough we must pursue after a goal in life.

Development: During WW II, the Richmond Golf Club, made up tempore rule for play. Players are asked to collect the bomb and shrapnel splinters to avoid damage to the mowing machines. In competition, during gunfire or while bombs are falling, players may take shelter without a penalty. The positions of known delayed action bombs are marked by red flags at a reasonable, but not guaranteed, safe distance therefrom. Shrapnel and/or bombs splinter on the fairways or in the bunkers, within a club length of a ball may be moved without a penalty. A player whose stroke is affected by the simultaneous explosion of a bomb may play another ball without a penalty

Frame: In the mist of war the players had to maintain drive for life.

Movement 3

Idea: The normal man needs to have something to shoot for in the harshness of this world.

Development: Lee Iacocca started out as the son of an immigrant worker, Iacocca was born in Allentown PA, he was destined failure but reached stardom. He put himself though school. After school he went to work for Ford Motor Company, while at Ford he worked from the bottom up. He would become the president, then in 1978 he left Ford to take over the dying Chrysler company. Iacocca would be known as the come back king. In five years he turned the dying company into a profit machine.

Frame: Ordinary people have the capacity to become extraordinary.

Movement 4

Idea: An ordinary man leaves his mark with an extra ordinary act of kindness.

Development: Mr. Chapman left behind a fruit that even this last summer I enjoyed. For years this man went about the wilderness of IN, OH, PA, spreading a seed of an apple tree. You see Johnny Apple Seed, planted then returned to prune the growing trees. That is why so many trees can be traced back to 40 year careers as the Apple man.

Frame: When you leave your mark make sure it will last.

Movement 5

Idea: Paul was an ordinary man who choose to keep on going no matter what people said. He did this to fulfill his extra ordinary purpose. He truly left his mark.

Development: Acts 16:Once when we were going to the place of prayer, we were met by a slave girl who had a spirit by which she predicted the future. She earned a great deal of money for her owners by fortune-telling. 17 This girl followed Paul and the rest of us, shouting, "These men are servants of the Most High God, who are telling you the way to be saved." 18 She kept this up for many days. Finally Paul became so troubled that he turned around and said to the spirit, "In the name of Jesus Christ I command you to come out of her!" At that moment the spirit left her.AC 16:19 When the owners of the slave girl realized that their hope of making money was gone, they seized Paul and Silas and dragged them into the marketplace to face the authorities. 20 They brought them before the magistrates and said, "These men are Jews, and are throwing our city into an uproar 21 by advocating customs unlawful for us Romans to accept or practice AC 16:22 The crowd joined in the attack against!

Paul and Silas, and the magistrates ordered them to be stripped and beaten. 23 After they had been severely flogged, they were thrown into prison, and the jailer was commanded to guard them carefully. 24 Upon receiving such orders, he put them in the inner cell and fastened their feet in the stocks

Frame: Because this event Paul had to stay strong. God would shake the prison to present Paul and Silas freedom. Paul in the mist of danger and freedom would change the life of the jailor forever.
