Summary: It’s Hard to actually describe what Revival is. What’s easier is, what Revival is not! Let’s examine what hinders Revival from coming regardless of our efforts.
Introduction
There are very few who aren’t familar with II Chron. 7:14 "If my people..."
This verse embodies what is usually thought of as the Principles and Promise of Revival. However, it isn’t the Principles or Promise of Revival that we should be concerned about as the Precursor.
Like Salvation, one cannot aquire what one does not know he or she needs. Revival cannot come until you know you need reviving.
That’s why the Psa says, "Wilt thou not revive us again..." Evidently, something was hindering Revival from coming, what was it? Let’s examine it together!
Main Division
I. Crowded Hearts (Col 3:1-4)
II. Cold Hearts (Matt 24:12)
III. Corrupt Hearts (Ps 119:11)
Conclusion: Got Revival?
