Rev. #47~13:16-18 The Mark, Number, The Name Series

We’re in chapter 13: and we left off talking about “the mark of the beast” I want to say just a few more things to do with this and then Lord willing we’ll go on to chapter 14:

Ø Listen as I read verses 16-18 once again.

16And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

17And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

18Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

The False Prophet will implement a system to demand worship from all. The rich and powerful will not be able to escape the requirements. All people will be forced to submit to worshipping of the Beast.

The mark will be a system that allows control of every individual. Without submission to the Antichrist there will be no ability to participate in the economic system.

Food, clothing, shelter and fuel will not be available to those who have not submitted to the Beast.

I have read that new technologies known as biometrics are being developed to track and control segments of the population.

Ø Listen- With the increase in terrorism little resistance to such a system can be logically justified today, people will do just about anything to feel safe.

Fear of terrorism has removed many of our concerns of intrusive government; citizens want to know who is a threat, and one way to do that is to have everybody marked and accounted for.

Radio frequency identification (RFID) implants are currently the prime candidate for this beastly technology. These tiny wonders are already being implanted in the body to be used as a form of payment in some places in various countries.

Commercial devices are coming to market which will be surgically implanted and require some sort of power supply. This is nothing new, consider the pacemaker. The point of an internal renewable power supply is that the batteries will never have to be replaced.
