Summary: We must return unto the Lord

Return

Deuteronomy 30:1-3

The name of this book “Deuteronomy” literally means “second

law”

The people are at the banks of the Jorden River preparing to cross over into the Promised Land

Moses repeated everything God had told him, particularly the

Law. (Vs. 31)

It is a repeat of the book of Leviticus.

Along the way, many had forsaken the Lord and turned to idols.

— Some even carried their “god” with them.

— Small idols

So, Moses is reminding the people to “Return to the Lord”

C. God continually calls for obedience to his Word

James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers

only, deceiving your own selves.

you know how to obey God.

to the Lord.
