Summary: Whenever things change, change oriented leaders become creative by responding rather than reacting to change.

This message is going to make a difference to some of us who must respond to the changing seasons in the world.

I have been trusting God to help me communicate the practical steps we can take to ensure we don’t become victims of the present shift that is taking place all over the world now.

No matter the adversities, we are not expected to look to the world for solution in such a time as this.

We are expected to provide solutions that will amaze the world and make them to respect the Spirit at work in us (John 6:63).

My encouragement to leaders in a time as this is that, we should be super supernaturally creative (Genesis 1:1-3). We should bring forth what is beyond the natural in the midst of this changing and challenging situation.

Whether you are in ministry, education, business or public service, there is always a creative approach to crisis and adversity.

I hope the things we share here will stir in you the courage and curiosity to look for the best response to stay on top of the changing circumstance that may affect your field of work

1.  Be a Change Oriented Person

In other words, get Ready to Change.

The demand of change is change.

Whenever things change, change oriented leaders become creative by responding rather than resisting change.

You have a responsibility to change your business or work approach. Find out how best you can do what you do in order to achieve better results.

Change is not optional for many of us this season.

2.  Study the Shift

Creativity is stirred up through the power of observation. One thing we can not afford  to ignore this season is the need to study the shift taking place in our area of work and profession.

Studying the shift will help you to know the  things you must maintain and other new things you need to introduce to give your work a changing, adaptive, and accessible environment in order to thrive in the midst of this crisis.

3.  Rely on the Guidance of the Holy Spirit

One clear difference in the time of crisis is the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Creative leaders don’t joke with the guidance of the Holy Spirit. They learn to rely on Him for perfect guidance, divine ideas and the provisions of spiritual ability to tackle uncertainties.

I want you to specifically ask the Holy Spirit concerning how you need to be creative with your work in this season.

When you are ready for change, study the shift and then ask the Holy Spirit for guidance, you will not be stranded.

How to Turn Crisis to Blessing: Lesson for Leaders

There will always come a time in our lives that we have to respond to changing situations.

Most times, such response is propelled by crisis, which at first may look like a problem but at the end, it will turn out to be a blessing.

I believe no matter the changing circumstance of life, the word of God can not change.

Leaders therefore have a responsibility to build everything they do on that which is enduring and is capable of thriving in the midst of all adversities.

That’s the beginning of turning crisis to a blessing.

I will like to share here some practical ways great leaders usually turn their crisis to a blessing.

The same principles will produce same results whenever we put them into practice.

1. Learn to see differently

Turning crisis to a blessing requires the ability to see differently.

George Barna said, “Many people look but few people see.”

Leaders must be challenged to not only look but to really see things differently.

This is how God uses leaders to turn crisis to a blessing. He challenges them to see solutions where others are looking at problems.

The same thing applies to the happenings around us in the recent times. We must learn to see differently in the midst of all that is going on.

2.  Be willing to pay the price for what you see.

It is not enough to see solutions in the midst of problems, you must be ready to pay the price for the solutions.

Something that always make the difference in the time of crisis is the willingness to pay the price for the solution.

Many people forfeit the blessings in crisis because they aren’t willing to pay the price.

Sometimes the price may demand an immediate response to growth, learning new skills or making some adjustments that will not be convenient.

But the truth is, turning crisis to blessing will demand that you respond to the discipline involved.

Remember, two things are very vital. (1) See Solutions in the midst of Crisis. (2) Be willing to Pay the Price for the Solutions.
