Remove all the ‘Hagar and Ishmael’

Genesis 21:9”Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, whom she had borne to Abraham, mocking…”

Many of us feel that life would be hunky-dory after we receive answers to our prayers and when the miracle happens, but hang on there, with the arrival of the great miracle comes a great devil too. Warning! When Isaac was born, Ishmael was already there in the house of Abraham, are you listening to me? Sometimes your mocker is inside the house, close to you! Your mocker is in your team, in your group, you cannot just escape, the only remedy is to listen to God. I am speaking to someone out there!

God saw that Abraham was very displeased so now He spoke to Abraham and said: "Do not be distressed because of the lad and your maid; whatever Sarah tells you, listen to her, for through Isaac your descendants shall be named.” The bond woman and Ishmael which is of flesh have to be removed…..Jesus said:

John 8:34 Jesus answered them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is the slave of sin.

35 "The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son does remain forever.

When Abraham heard the voice of God, no matter how tough it may be, he obeyed, rose early the next morning and send them away. Flesh has to be crucified! Remove all the ‘Hagar and Ishmael’ from your life. In order to receive blessings from God, we need to remove all that is of flesh. Read: Galatians 5:

19 Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality,

20 idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions,

21 envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

24 Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

25 If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit.

Except your wife, other women should leave your life, (this rule is for women too..remove all your boyfriends) remove all the ‘ex’ from your list that includes your facebook too…. Remove all the ‘Hagar and Ishmael’ from your life. ….you may say “I just have nothing to do with them but we just have friendly conversation”…..no….no….remove….delete…don’t keep them in the re-cyclebin.

We all got to shed away our old habits and life just like the way the caterpillar sheds its skin in order to evolve into a stunning, astounding and beautiful butterfly! Apostle Paul said:

Ephesians 4:22 “that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts,

23 and be renewed in the spirit of your mind,

24 and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true

righteousness and holiness.” God bless you!
