Summary: This is a short segment from a teaching on discipleship. It is something that the Lord expanded my understanding of the Holy Spirit and the power to live our lives for Jesus, to be His disciples. It is from Revelation 22:1, and then Ezekiel 47:8-9.

But remember, if you want a mighty flow of the Holy Spirit, if you want the power of God to help you along on this journey of faith, this journey to spiritual transformation, bringing life and healing then you’re going to have to untie yourself from this anchor and let the Holy Spirit take you, guide and transport you into the plans and purposes of God.

You don’t have to be afraid of the middle of the river, you don’t have to be afraid of getting over your head, because when your in the middle of the River of Living Waters, the Holy Spirit is going to take you for the ride of your life. He’ll take you to these places of new life, and those places that were once dead He’ll make alive.

Let me submit to you, if you want to have the fullness of the power of God activated in your life, then you’re going to have to get in the deep end and let the Holy Spirit take you. Taking you places you’ve never been, showing you things you’ve never seen, because you’re letting Him do the work, instead of yourself.

Remember, the deeper you go, the mightier the flow. The deeper you go the Holy Spirit will do mighty things in you and through you, to mold you into that image of Jesus Christ, and to help you along this road of faith we’ve all be called to travel.

So, here’s the question, “How many of you want to go deeper with God?”

I want to pray that God will take you deeper, taking you to places you’ve never been before, and that bring healing.

There are a lot of things that hold us back from going deeper, that is, the anchors in our lives, and we all know what they are, even this morning the Holy Spirit has been speaking to you about them, and God wants to speak to these very things today and to take the fear away. The Bible says that God has not given to us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.

Remember, wherever the river flows there’s healing, and the deeper you go the mightier the flow. Are you willing to go deeper and be that man or woman of God, that disciple Jesus has called for you to be?

So again, here’s the question, “How many of you want to go deeper with God?”
