Summary: Let us reason together what we are projecting. God's people saw themselves as grasshoppers, thus they appeared to the enemy as grasshoppers? Why?

PROJECTION OF REJECTION.

THE TOOL OF FEAR ( LORD, HELP ME UNDERSTAND ME?)

By Wade Martin Hughes, Sr. Kyfingers@aol.com

CONSIDER, MEDITATE, RUMINATE THE DIFFERENCES IN A TOY AND A TOOL?

I have heard in the USA success is measured by WHO HAS THE MOST TOYS?

Others measure success by HOW EXPENSIVE THE TOYS ARE?

In the family and the church do we have more TOYS than TOOLS?

COME LET US REASON TOGETHER? WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

1 Timothy 4:15 Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.

SEVERAL YEARS AGO I RAN ACROSS A WORD I HAD NEVER HEARD… RUMINATE.

So I did some studying and found a treasure chest in that word. I lived in the mountains of eastern Kentucky and I often heard a word used by the old timers: PONDER. I love to ponder, maybe King James calls the thought: MEDITATE.

Psalm 77:12 I will meditate also of all thy work, and talk of thy doings.

Isaiah 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

*Reason: The power of the mind to think and understand.

*Meditate: To spend time in quiet thought for Godly purposes, to relax and reflect.

*Ruminate: To think carefully and deeply…

A country person understands CHEW THE CUD… A cow eats the grass all day, and at dark the cow chews the grass all night.

MAY WE NEVER DESIRE TOYS MORE THAN TOOLS?

HOW OFTEN DO YOU USE YOUR BRAIN?

Does your mouth run when your brain is in neutral? WE CALL THIS FOOT IN MOUTH DISEASE?

Isaiah 53:3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

IS IT POSSIBLE THAT WE BECOME WHAT WE PROJECT?

REVIEW: 3 WORDS TO REASON ON, TO RUMINATE, OR TO MEDITIATE ABOUT…

MANY PEOPLE DO NOT CARE WHAT OTHERS THINK?

Numbers 13:33 And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.

*AURA (OR-a) An energy field that is held to emanate (come out of) from a living being. Emit.

A subtle sense, the feeling that seems to come from a person, place or thing.

*FEAR: An unpleasant emotion caused by being aware of danger. To be afraid of something or someone.

To expect bad things, to worry. Alarm.

*REJECT, REJECTION: To refuse to believe, accept or consider. To decide not to do. To refuse to allow.

Disapprove, negative, withhold. Something that is not GOOD ENOUGH. To throw away, to throw out.

Who defines who you are?

THERE IS POWER IN FEAR…

Come let us reason. RUMINATE: DO WE THINK WITH OUR BRAIN? DO WE THINK WITH OUR HEART?

Do we understand what the greatest distance in the world could be?

18 inches may just be the greatest distance I know?

The distance between the brain and the heart? (On the average is 18 inches.)

RUMINATE: HAVE YOU EVER LIVED IN THE RIGHT FAMILY? YOU ARE RIGHT! SHE IS RIGHT! THE KIDS ARE RIGHT! THE DOG IS RIGHT! EVERYONE IS RIGHT! NO ONE IS EVER WRONG. (IN THEIR OWN EYES!)

There is a rule that I have found in 47 years of marriage. This rule varies in families, but this is true to mine.

My wife says: I FEEL … I say: I THINK…

I say: I think what you feel just does not make sense to me? How can you be so pretty and so dumb at the same time?

She answers: God made me that way! I said: What makes you feel that, that just is not LOGICAL?

She said: I am pretty so you would love me. I am so dumb that I would love you!!!

I THINK! MY WIFE FEELS!

Proverbs 23:7 For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.

Most of the time I think with my head. Most of the time my dear wife thinks with her heart.

A GOOD MARRIAGE NEEDS A GOOD BRAIN AND A GOOD HEART TO FIND BALANCE. I THANK GOD THAT MY WIFE FEELS.

I AM RIGHT SOME OF THE TIME? SHE SAYS: SHE IS RIGHT MOST OF THE TIME?

FEAR IS A POISON THAT BREEDS AND PROJECTS AN AURA OF ANGER AND NEGATIVITY THAT WE CARRY HIDDEN DEEP WITH THE HEAD AND THE HEART. WE ARE PROJECTING REJECTION WITH OUR MOUTHS, ATTIITUDES AND DEEDS!
