The blatant and blameless sin
The first four come with excuses yet they are all inexcusable,
1. Rash decision - I just wasn’t thinking straight
2. Rash ambition - It just felt right at the time
3. Rash retreat - I didn’t know what else to do
4. Rash justification - It seem rational at the time
o All of these describe Eve at temptation time for she was deceived but still responsible for her sin
But number five is blatant and describes Adam at Temptation time for he wasn’t deceived he had decided to disobey.
5-Iniquity - nonobservance of a law
· Titus 2:14 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; 14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
· Blatant
o Just like Adam
o This is more than a character flaw it is a defining of your character. It is the same difference found in a child who has a moment of disobedience and one who has a motif of disobedience.
o This year is the year of obedience for us here at the Father’s house. Not because we are a terrible people who need to obey, but because we are a great people who have been empowered to obey. Obedience is a sign of your strength.
· Grace is not the privilege to live with out law but the power to live with in the law
6-Sin - to miss the mark
· This is not about the act of sin but the actuality of sin
· Blameless
o I call this blameless all because it has nothing to do with our actions or anything we personally can be blamed for. It is all about us being born a human being and therefore seed of Adam.
· Rev 1:5 – And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
o Washed us from our sins
John 13:6-10 - Then cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet? 7 Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter. 8 Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me. 9 Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head. 10 Jesus saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit: and ye are clean, but not all.

Conclusion:
· Christ at Calvary freed me from the price of Sin All sins, rash, blatant and blameless sins.
· Christ at Calvary empowered me to walk away from sin All sins, rash, blatant and blameless sins.
