KNOW YOUR MISSION? KNOW THE SATANIC MISSION?

TEXT:
John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but to STEAL, KILL, AND TO DESTROY: I am come that they might have life and have it more abundantly.
Luke 12:39 This know, that if the good man of the house had known what hour the thief would come,
he would have watched, and not suffered his house to be broken through.
1. DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR MISSION IS?
As a whole do you think the average Christian knows what their mission is?
Is the church preparing saints to accomplish their mission?
If we do not know our mission, how can we ever accomplish our mission?
If we don’t realize we have a mission will we ever really be prepared to launch out and do our work?
If parents don’t know their mission, how can they ever successfully teach their children their mission?
2. DEFINE MISSION?
A. Define mission:
--- To be sent --- to entrust ---the act of sending ---
--- a calling --- ministry commissioned to propagate faith --- assignment --- directional and financial support ---
B. The are two basic mission directions:
1. TO GO
Spell God ---GO-d
Spell gospel --- GO-spel
2. TO SEND
If we can’t go and touch every place, then we have
a duty to help send others that can.
3. WISDOM IS TO KNOW YOUR ENEMY’S MISSION.
Luke 12:39 This know, that if the good man of the house had known what hour the thief would come,
he would have watched, and not suffered his house to be broken through.
A. Any good coach not only knows a strategy for his game, but a good coach scouts out the
opposing team.
B. We must know and plan our own methods, tactics, strategy.
Any good teacher has a plan, plan A, if that does not work, there needs to be a plan B, a plan C,
etc.
C. L + P = O --- Luck plus preparation equals opportunity.
4. LET US FIRST STUDY THE METHODS AND TACTICS OF OUR ENEMY!
John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but to STEAL, KILL, AND TO DESTROY:
I am come that they might have life and have it more abundantly.
5. THE THREE FOLD SATANIC PLAN OR PURPOSE!
A. STEAL: to take wrongfully, take without willful permission, secret gradual trickery,
habitual practice to deceive,
B. KILL: to deprive of life, to put an end to, defeat, destroy.
C. DESTROY: raze, to ruin, to put out of existence, neutralize, annihilate
6. SATAN IS WORKING OVERTIME IN THE LAST DAYS.
MATTHEW 24:21 FOR THEN SHALL GREAT TRIBULATION, SUCH AS WAS NOT SINCE THE BEGINNING
OF THE WORLD TO THIS TIME, NO NOR SHALL EVER BE.
22. And except those days should be shortened; there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake
those days shall be shortened.
Also Mark 13:20
Let us study several AREAS THE ENEMIES OF GOD ARE GOING TO LAUNCH AN ALL OUT ATTACK.
7. OUR ENEMY IS OUT TO STEAL, KILL AND DESTROY THE FAMILY!
A. We see divorce, homosexuality, rebellion, lawlessness, attacking the modern family.
B. Weak, sick families will grow weak, sick churches.
C. Do you think Eve thought about visiting her precious son’s grave as she reached toward the
forbidden tree? Abel will own the first grave, Cain is the first murderer; all because a Mother and Father
could not stay in the bounds of God’s rules.
D. 11 Samuel 11:1 At a time when Kings went into battle, David stayed home and sent Joab in his place.
David made a willful decision to not be in the place of duty, this choice will lead to a terrible trail of
many tears.
David will break the commandments of God? Lust, sex out of marriage, a cover up, a murder
all because Daddy was not where he should have been.
David will buy a little casket and bury his precious little son.
Tamar will be raped by her brother.
Another brother will kill his brother.
David will cry long and loud, ABSALOM, ABSALOM, OH, MY SON ABSALOM ---
All these tears will grow from a Daddy not taking his place of authority.
David’s sin hurt his family!
E. Didn’t Moses allow D-I-V-O-R-C-E?
Mark 10:4 And they said, Moses suffered to write a bill of divorcement.
5. Jesus answered, For the HARDNESS OF YOUR HEART he wrote this precept.
F. Over half of the kids in the USA do not live in a home with their Mom and Dad.
Step dads? Step moms? Boyfriends? Girlfriends?
God loves divorced people, but never forget, God hates divorce.
E. HOME: Where each lives for the other, and all live for the Lord.
8. THE SATANIC INTEREST IS TO KILL, STEAL AND DESTROY OUR FOCUS
Matthew 23:23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you pay tithe of mint and anise
and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith:
these ought you to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
Our priorities are sports, games, work then if anything is leftover give to God.
Matt. 6:33 Seek you first the kingdom of God and all of these things shall be added unto you!
9. SATAN DESIRES TO KILL, STEAL AND DESTROY YOUR FELLOWSHIP!
A. Our enemy wants you to not be committed and faithful to the local assembly!
B. We grow twice a year blooming flowers in the church: Easterous Christianiums,
they bloom on Easter and Christmas.
C. The Mother calls her adult son on Sunday morning.
Get up and go to church this morning, says the Mom.
Why should I Mom? Give me one good reason Mom?
Well, son you are the pastor, you should go to church?
D. I DON’T HAVE TO GO TO CHURCH?
What kind of church would my church be: if every member were just like me?
Does God require the pastor to be any more faithful than you and your family?
E. LAZY HABITS OF THE LAST DAYS?
Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembly of ourselves together, AS THE MANNER OF SOME IS;
but exhorting one another: AND SO MUCH MORE, as you see the day appearing.
1 Cor. 4:2 Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.
10. YOUR ENEMY IS OUT TO KILL, STEAL AND DESTROY YOUR FAITH!
Hebrews 11:6 Without faith it is impossible to please God ----
Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering...

11. OUR ENEMY IS OUT TO STEAL, KILL AND DESTROY FRIENDSHIPS!
Proverbs 18:24 A man that hath friends must show himself friendly:
and there is a friend that sticks closer than a brother.
Proverbs 27: 5, 6, 17
Be careful not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers --- 2 Cor. 6:14
A real friend cannot be known in prosperity;
and the enemy cannot be hidden in times of adversity.
WILL YOU BE A FRIEND OF GOD? BY LOVE SHALL ALL MEN KNOW?
12. THE FOES OF GOD WANT TO KILL, STEAL AND DESTROY FORGIVING AND GIVING!
Matthew 10:8 Freely you have received, FREELY GIVE!
Luke 6:37 Judge not and you shall not be judged; condemn not and you shall not be condemned;
FORGIVE AND YOU SHALL BE FORGIVEN.
38. Give and it shall be given unto you, good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and
running over shall men give unto your bosom. For with the same measure you mete withal it shall
be measured to you again.
May God’s enemies plans be destroyed.
