BUMBLE BEES, COCKROACHS, AND PEOPLE...

DID YOU KNOW IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR THE BUMBLE BEE TO FLY?
THERE IS A BRANCH OF DYNAMICS THAT DEALS WITH THE MOTION OF THE AIR and the forces that
act and can cause flight. The aerodynamics of the bumble bee are not suited for flying. In proportion to wing size and body size, the Bee’s body is simply not suited for flight. The bee is too short and fat, and the wings are not long enough to support flight.
But God made the Bumble Bee and told it to fly, and it has flown every since.
We have honey because the bumble bee can fly.
Aren’t you glad a bumble bee can’t understand human language? We would tell the bumble bee, baby doll,
you are too fat to fly? And when we convinced bees, they would be grounded and there would be no honey?
If you place a bumble bee in a glass or a jar, it feels so trapped and it will walk and crawl around until it dies.
All the bubble bee would have to do is look up and fly out the top, but no it will die, trapped, looking down to the bottom for an escape. There is an escape, the bubble bee can fly out the top, but it’s entrapment will bring death, because the bee will look down, not up.
THANK GOD THAT COCKROACHES DON’T KNOW?
I can’t believe it, but some people have cockroaches for pets?
A cockroach is of the suborder of Blattodea. Cockroaches are mainly nocturnal, or of the night.
DID YOU KNOW A COCKROACH CAN FLY?
But most cockroaches never fly, they only fly when they have to, like when they are falling off a counter.
Cockroaches don’t know they can fly and I am so glad. But why don’t they fly?
MAKE A BUZZARD A PRISONER?
You can build a 6 feet by 8 feet pen, fence on all four sides, and leave the top open, and put a buzzard in the pen, and the buzzard will be imprisoned until death. Sure the buzzard could at any time fly out the top, the buzzard could climb up the side of the pen to freedom, but the buzzard has a habit, the buzzard runs 10 to 12 feet then the buzzard will fly. If you restrict the running space the buzzard will never fly, but he could just take off and fly away.
A small pen makes the buzzard give up. Why buzzard?
THERE IS A BIRD NAMED THE LILY TROTTER.
There is a bird that lives in warm climates named the Lily Trotter. It is a beautiful bird. It walks from lily pad to lily pad pecking for food in the shallow water. The Lily Trotter is capable of flight. Lily Trotters can soar at heights almost like the eagle. But most Lily Trotters spend their life jumping from Lily Pad to Lily Pad.
As a whole they will only use their wings to fly less than 20 feet at a time. Why Lily Trotter?
BATS ON THE LEVEL?
There is an interesting animal that many people needless fear, THE BAT! Did you know a bat is a mammal?
Bats are of the order of Chiroptera. Bats are nocturnal, and help humans very much. Bats eat many, many insects.
Bats have wings that are made up of four elongated digits. Bats depend on an echolocation system to guide them in flight. But a bat cannot take off from a level place. If you place a bat on a level floor or on level ground, they just hop around in pain, the bat must find a place with at least a small angular distance, then the bat will fly away.
ARE YOU LIKE THE BUBLE BEE? THE COCKROACH? THE BUZZARD? THE LILY TROTTER?OR THE BAT?
HOW LONG HAS IT BEEN SINCE YOU FLEW IN GOD’S GREATNESS?
DO YOU FEEL TRAPPED?
Have you fell prey to some of the enemy’s plans? Has something sprung up around you and suddenly or gradually shut you out?
Are you caught? Are you caught unaware? Could you be in a trap and not even know it?
Has the enemy stole your dream? Are you bitter? Do you have unforgiveness reigning in your heart?
Jesus has a plan to release you! Deliverance has come!
It is time to arise and let God!
REMEMBER THE SONG OF THE EARLY 1970’S?
I am building a bridge, across the divide.
I’m building it strong, I’m building it wide.
God gave me the plan, I’ll follow it through.
I’ll make it somehow, Now how about you?

I FINISH PLAYING MY GUITAR AND I ASKED SEVERAL QUESTIONS:
1. WHAT IS THE BEGINNING OF THIS GUITAR?
2. WHAT IS THE GOAL OF THE END PRODUCT OF THIS GUITAR?
You could use the piano or organ or pew in the church?
LET’S LOOK AT THE BEGINNING OF THIS GUITAR?
GOD => DIRT=> A TREE=> A SEED=> WATER AND SUNLIGHT=> A TREE=> A SAW TO CUT DOWN THE TREE=> RAW LUMBER=> A BLOCK OF WOOD=> A GUITAR!
LET US LOOK AT WHAT THE GOAL OR PURPOSE OF THIS GUITAR IS?
=>Is music the goal? Well, not of this guitar, yet music is part of the product => A skilled hand to play music. => blend with voices=> => Praise and worship=>
to touch a human heart=> with a reflection of Jesus=> to bring life in contact with God.
So God is the beginning and God is the end product I desire!
SO GOD IS THE BEGINNING OF MY GUITAR AND GOD IS THE END PRODUCT I WOULD HOPE TO REACH WITH MY GUITAR.
GOD’S ULTAMITE GOAL IS TO BUILD PEOPLE TO FLY IN HIS WILL!
JESUS DECLARED HE WOULD BUILD HIS CHURCH!
This declaration depends upon you, real people!
Mat. 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
AS A GLOVE ON THE HAND OF A SURGEON, SO IS THE HOLY SPIRIT TO YOUR HEART AND WORDS!
Right now, somewhere, there is a person near death. A man will quietly step up to a sink and wash his hands,
and place over his hand a glove, just a cheap glove. That man will use his hand in that near worthless glove to save a life. Many days will be added to this life because of the glove? Well, yes, and no?
It was the skilled hand of a trained doctor that slipped into the glove.
Well, the Holy Spirit wants to dwell into your heart and words today and operate on others.
You may bring new and added meaning, because you were a yielded glove!
NO ONE CAN BUILD YOUR DREAM! YOU MUST BECOME THE GLOVE, NOT IN THE BOX, BUT ON THE
DOCTORS HAND, WITH THE SPIRIT OF GOD LEADING!
No one can build your dream, A GOOD DREAM TAKES A TEAM! You, God, your family and the church!
WE NEED A CLEAR VISION FOCUSED ON THE ETERNAL!
Vision - the ability to see clearly
* vivid picture see in mind
* power of seeing
* foresight
* Vision - see purpose - goals of life - ministry
* revelation
* to form an idea in mind
WE NEED A CLEAR, FRESH, NOT STALE --SOURED OR DECAYED VISION!
Need Fresh vision, IT IS HARD TO KEEP A FRESH VISION!
Prov. 19:18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
WE CANNOT ALLOW THE ENEMY OR LIFE TO DISTORT OUR VISION! BEWARE WHEN LIFE BECOMES DISTORTED HEARTACHE COMES.
Delusion? - Distortion? - Out of context? Who is our real enemy? Anger and bitterness so distorts life.
Man tries to manipulate man and this causes terrible visions or nightmares.
We can take the scripture and distort it?
Mat. 27:5 Judas threw money in temple, THEN HE WENT AND HANGED HIMSELF
Luke 10:37 Jesus said, Go thou and do likewise.
John 13:27 Jesus said, Whatever thou doest, do it quickly.
Our enemy knows God’s words, he just distorts them.
GOD WANTS US TO BUILD PEOPLE. WE DON’T USE PEOPLE TO BUILD THE CHURCH --- WE USE THE CHURCH TO BUILD PEOPLE.
Build: to make greater, put together, establish, increase, construct, raise, increase
Build on: use as base for new growth.
Build up: develop gradually - promote
WE HAVE MANY WELL INTENTIONED PEOPLE THAT THINK THEY ARE GOD’S LITTLE HEAD SCRINKERS.
Where are the edifiers and the encouragers? Quit looking for them, become one!
I HAD A DREAM ---RAZE!
20 years ago about 3 AM, I dreamed a dreamed. I saw 20 feet high neon lighted letters, there was 4 bold,
bright letters R -- A -- Z -- E.
I was unfamiliar with this word. As unfair as it is, I asked my wife to get up and get a dictionary, here is what I found.
RAZE - utterly destroy, tear down, bring to ruin, pull down, erase, to scrape, to destroy at the ground level.
I saw several families, God was going to RAZE and I was to warn them. At 5 AM I went and knocked on a door,
I told the real nice family my dream. They were sort of in and out church members, but out a lot more than in...
They agreed and we prayed, I visited the others.
Let me tell you of that first family. They got out of church. He got a girlfriend, later she a boyfriend.
They divorced, they remarried. The kids passed back and forth.
Later I heard the man was in prison, I confirmed this.
20 years later, I went to visit him, the first thing he asked me, DO YOU REMEMBER THE DREAM?
I STILL CRY OVER THIS, I KNEW THEIR POTENTIAL, --- HOW SAD?
HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF THE SUNDAY SCHOOL DART TEST?
The Sunday School teacher passes out paper and drawing material. The teacher asks each student to draw
someone they don’t like. Draw the picture as best as they can. They talk about why we don’t like this person?
Then the teacher hangs the portrait on the wall and they all throw darts at their one they don’t like.
The teacher takes the pictures down and returns them to each student.
Under each picture there was a picture of Jesus Christ.
Jesus is full of pin holes, Jesus was scarred by disliking people.
Have you scarred Jesus?
SOME WAY WE MUST REACH OUT TO PEOPLE AND BUILD THEM!
Some way we must:
Mentor, reach (unchurch, backslidders), teach, unteach
I was a school teacher, I had a sweet girl named April Witt. At the end of the year I had the students write an honest evaluation of my work. I would not read them until they were gone.
April wrote --- Mr. Hughes learned me alot this year.
Well not in English? Hehehehe!Teach again!
We must make a commitment to win, cooperation, mature, accept our mission, train others..
CAN I HELP YOU?

THIS WAS A POEM MY DAD USED TO READ VERY OFTEN, NOW IT IS ONE I HAVE WRITEN IN MY BIBLES, MAY MY SONS KNOW THIS:
THE BRIDGE BUILDER ( Unknown)
AN OLD MAN, GOING ON A LONE HIGHWAY,
CAME AT THE EVENING, COLD AND GRAY,
TO A CHASM, VAST AND WIDE,
THROUGH WHICH WAS FLOWING A SWOLLEN TIDE,
THE OLD MAN CROSSED IN THE TWILIGHT DIM,
THE SULLEN STREAM HAD NO FEAR FOR HIM,
BUT HE TURNED WHEN SAFE ON THE OTHER SIDE,
AND BUILT A BRIDGE TO SPAN THE TIDE.
"OLD MAN," SAID A FELLOW PILGRIM NEAR,
"YOU ARE WASTING YOUR STRENGTH ON BUILDING HERE,
YOUR JOURNEY WILL END WITH THE ENDING DAY,
YOU WILL NEVER AGAIN PASS THIS WAY.
YOU HAVE CROSSED THE CHASM DEEP AND WIDE;
WHY BUILD YOU THIS BRIDGE AT EVENING TIDE?"
THE BUILDER LIFTED HIS OLD, GRAY HEAD:
"GOOD FRIEND, IN THE PATH I HAVE COME,"
HE SAID, "THERE FOLLOWED AFTER ME TODAY, A FAIR HAIRED YOUTH,
WHOSE FEET MUST PASS THIS WAY, THE CHASMS THAT HAS BEEN NAUGHT TO ME
TO THAT FAIR HAIRED YOUTH MAY A PITFALL BE.
HE TOO, MUST CROSS IN THE TWILIGHT DIM,
GOOD FRIEND, I AM BUILDING THIS BRIDGE FOR HIM."
