DO WE PRACTICE REAL LOVE?
Or are we seeking profits?

TEXT:
PROVERBS 10:12 HATRED STIRS UP STRIVES;
BUT LOVE COVERS ALL SINS.
John 13:34 A new commandment I GIVE:
THAT YOU LOVE ONE ANOTHER.
John 4:8 He that loves not;
knows not God, for God is love.
Gen. 29:20 Said Jacob worked all these years (14) for his love Rachel, and it seemed unto him as a few days....
Lev. 19:18 Love your neighbor as thyself...
Deut. 6:5-7...You should love the Lord your God with ALL your heart, with ALL your soul, and with ALL your Might...
LOVE NEVER FAILS!!!!!
Today I ponder: WHAT IS REAL LOVE?
I had a man tell me, he only believed in what he could see?
I asked if he was sure.
Of course, he said.
I said have you ever seen love?
He said, yes.
I said, what did it love like?
No one has ever seen love,
but we can see the effects of love around the world.
We have a duty to instill love for others
and in others.
Are we dripping love?
Where are we dripping love?
THEY DO NOT LOVE, THAT DO NOT SHOW THEIR LOVE!
Love shows and cannot be hid.
Can you imagine how much Jacob loved Rachel?
He worked for her 7 years, and did not get her.
He worked another seven years, the love was so precious.
Gen. 29:20 Said Jacob worked all these years and it seemed
unto him as a few days....
Wow ,what love will do.
Is there waiting love today?
The person that needs your love the most, probably deserves it the least?
Do I practice real love on a daily basis?
Read 1 Cor. 13.
Do I really love?
Do people look at you and say:
See how these Christians love?
Can love and fear co-exist?
What do you see when you see people?
What do they see when they see you?
WHAT YOU LOVE YOU WILL FIND TIME FOR....
If you hurt today, will someone invest the love to get you beyond the storm? That is not the question.
The question is: Can you see someone is hurting, and how can you invest love in them to help them grow and overcome?
Someone needs your phone call?
Someone needs the little note you could write?
Someone is lonely and needs your visit?
Some child feels that no one loves them?
The person that needs your love the most, probably deserves it the least?
Who shall I love?
Love your enemies, are you kidding?
Some preacher’s hands are hanging low, all he needs is someone to give him an encouraging word?
Today, you could read this and then reach out and invest love?
Or you could play another game?
The other day I invited a man to church. He had a good excuse .....
He said, "I would go to church, but the are hypocrites there."
I personally agreed that there are hypocrites at church.
As long as real people attend anything, there will be problems.
But, I told him, I was amazed, I saw hypocrites at Walmart and
Super America?
He goes to those places with hypocrites ...
WHY CAN’T YOU GO TO CHURCH WITH THEM?
He spent time in bars, and you talk about hypocrites?
I could not change his mind, but I left him with the thought ...
he would spend eternity with hypocrites, so he should get use to them.
He agreed that: … if it were his last Sunday he may come.
Besides that, I think at times we are all hypocritical to some degree.
I have some friends that are good people.
They love their church, they give good.
They sell expensive dishes and houseware.
They use the church as a way of setting up parties
to sell their product.
They make big money.
They sell the product for a great profit, and many young people have gone into debt to buy their goodies.
Then the young people can’t afford the payments.
By using the church they sell 300K a year.
Once they work a church, when there are no more parties,no more sells, they leave that church and court another pastor.
I do not question the product, but I do seriously question the motive for giving and attending churches.
I heard them train some others, they told them, use the church, that is the greatest way to promote sells.
I do not suggest this is a sin, but I do ponder the motive for attendance?
Should we use the church?
I think not.
How is the best way to get even with an enemy?
Feed him.
Love him and make him your friend.
The person that needs your love the most, probably deserves it the least?
We must see beyond faults and weaknesses.
Looking for the best and the ideal will always leave us empty.
If others live not to our expectations, do we live up to theirs?
Do we live up to our own?
Is this spiritual abortion?
LOVE WILL HOLD THE ANGER AND TONGUE.
Where anger and the tongue reign freely there is little love.
Preach to me, yes ... But walk before me ... show me ... love me ... and be patient. With time and love, deliverance can come.
Never just love the lovely, the world does that.
The person that needs your love the most, probably deserves it the least?
I feel God gives every person a few friends that always seem to be paying "HIGH STUPID TAX."
These personalities become abrasives, but their sand paper personalties can polish us to be more like Jesus.
Why not accept this and trust God.
Deut. 6:5-7...You should love the Lord your God with ALL your heart, with ALL your soul, and with ALL your Might...
I MIGHT GO TO SUNDAY SCHOOL IF THEY HAVE FREE COFFEE AND DONUTS.
Prayer can do what cannot be accomplished.
Often times, while we pray for others to change, it is our heart that changes.
If you do not like what you are getting, CHANGE WHAT YOU ARE GIVING!
This reminds me of the Parable of the Rose.
A certain man planted a rose and watered it faithfully and before it blossomed, he examined it.
He saw the bud that would soon blossom, but noticed thorns upon the stem and he thought, "How can any beautiful flower come from a plant burdened with so many sharp thorns?"
Saddened by his thought, he neglected to water the rose, and before it was ready to bloom, it died.
So it is with many people.
Within every soul there is a rose.
The person that needs your love the most, probably deserves it the least?
The God like qualities planted in us at birth growing amid the thorns of our faults. No love is ever lost.
Many of us look at ourselves and see only the thorns, the faults, the problems, the defects, the disappointments.
We despair, thinking that nothing good can come possibly from imperfect people?
We neglect to water the good within us, and eventually it dies.
We never realize our potential.
Some people do not see the rose within themselves; someone else must show it to them.
One of the greatest gifts a person can possess is to be able to reach past the thorns and find the rose within others.
This is the characteristic of love -- to look at a person and know their true faults.
When love is the motive, the job will be finished,
and the goal accomplished.
Accepting that person into your life, while recognizing the nobility in their soul.
Help them to realize that they can overcome their faults.
If we will show them the rose they will conquer their thorns.
Only then will they blossom many times over.
As I always say, some people grumble that roses have thorns.
I’m thankful that thorns have roses.
What do you see when you see a rose?
What do you see when you see people?
You will see what you want to see?
Maybe life will have a "MIRROR EFFECT?"
The person that needs your love the most, probably deserves it the least?
Love overlooks many things, the lack of love is constantly finding faults.
I read 1 Cor. 13 and I wonder, DO I REALLY LOVE?
Will you take time to read 1 Cor. 13 to evaluate yourself, or are you to busy?
The person that needs your love the most, probably deserves it the least?
So invest in them. Someone invested in you!
Love gives. Love loves to give.
Can you love more?
