The challenge is:
what can I do about the lost dying
with no hope?

What stradegy can I use to win lost souls for the kingdom?
Spin a web for growth?
Text: Prov. 11:30 The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life: and he that WINNETH souls is wise.
Recently I watched a little spider for a long time.
With great effort the little spider wove a beautiful web.
There was a network of silken thread spun to serve as the spiders nest, and a shelter, but the web was more than that.
The web would serve as a snare or entanglement for a food source.
This work of the web could be the difference, in growth or death.
Seems the little spider had a plan.
The spider prepared for tomorrow in her work today.
Seems the spider knew the fly would not come up and say,
"Here, I am your dinner."
If there is another generation, the family would depend on this web as a lifeline.
Over several days, I saw this web become a work of art.
The morning’s dew would glisten on the web.
Food came.
A few weeks later I saw a little cocoon like sack.
The momma spider laid her precious eggs in that sack.
Everything depended upon those days, ... when momma spider saw ahead well enough to make plans and build a web.
We need to have foresight of faith in the church today and build webs to catch life and sustain the growth for this generation and generations to come.
Isa. 66:8 .... When Zion travails sons and daughters shall be born.
We need a game plan, short term and long term.
No coach would take a team on the field without scouting the other team.
This strategy started with weight lifting in the winter, practice in the spring, summer two a day practices, watching game tapes, and preparation.
IN THE CHURCH, WE OFTEN HAVE THE CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS AWARDS SYSTEM.
Columbus had no directions when he left port in 1492.
Columbus had no time schedule.
He didn’t know where he was going and he didn’t know where he had been.
Columbus just accidentally accomplished his trip to "INDIA?"
A GOOD SOUL WINNING PROGRAM CANNOT SUSTAIN ITSELF BY ACCIDENT.
To catch fish, you must go to some source of water?
WE NEED TO SPIN A WEB FOR GROWTH.
WE CAN NEVER SPIN THIS WEB UNTIL THE LEADERSHIP SEES THE LOST AND BACKSLIDDEN and allows the Holy Spirit to ignite the flame.
Then this flame’s vision must be fanned to all.
We have a super challenge set before us? ...
WHO CARES?
WHO IS ACTIVELY DEVELOPING A PLAN FOR THE LOST?
We hear much about Spiritual gifts, but very little about the fruit of the Spirit?
We hear prayers for prosperity, but where is the cry for the lost and the backslidden?
If I believe in heaven, I also believe in HELL!
Listen to the sounds and smell the odors that spew forth from an eternal HELL?
90% of pastoring is trying to keep the flock together, away from spiritual cannibalism?
As long as co-labourers are seen as enemies,
the Enemy laughs as he takes another load to Hell?
LET’S LOOK AT SOME STATISTICS,
we will leave the interpretation and analysis to you:
345,000 humans are born per day.
Everyday that goes by finds more souls turning to the "age of accountability." After this day, there will be more weighed in the balances.
101 people die per minute WITHOUT KNOWING CHRIST.
Hell must remodel daily to enlarge to contain the lost souls.
We have a responsibility to spin a web to reach the lost at any cost.
6,083 souls die per hour without Jesus.
WHO CARES?
WHO CARES ENOUGH TO SPIN A WEB?
145,992 die per day without knowing Jesus as their personal Savior.
Now, what does this mean?
This means we that believe in a real Hell need to arise and develop a strategy as groups and as individuals.
When Zion travails there will be active evangelism within and without.
NOW, LET’S LOOK AT WHY DO PEOPLE SERVE THE LORD AND ATTEND CHURCH?
I read a survey of 14,000 people that attended church on a regular basis, here are some interesting facts on how they started attending.
03% just walked into a church,
This is just at random, pick a church and walk in, and then became active.
Between 2% to 4% attend a church because of it’s programs.
This would be Christmas plays, Easter Cantata’s,
Royal Rangers, Missionettes, etc.
Most small churches are very limited in programs.
Between 3% to 5% attend because they liked the Pastor.
These people met the Pastor and liked him and
decided they wanted to go to (his) church.
Between 2% to 3% attend because they had a special need.
They were nearing a divorce, financial problems, counseling, etc.
Between 1% to 2% attend because of a visitation program.
There was a day door to door visitation was effective,
today because of security, privacy, Mormons, and Jehovah Witnesses ...
this tool has lost it’s effectiveness.
Notice Assemblies of God was not listed in the ranks of those that practice door to door visitation.
Between 3% to 5% attend because of a thriving Sunday School.
Many active Christians bypass prayer and Bible study, thus voting for the unimportance of these activities.
Around .001% attend because they started during a Crusade/Revival.
BETWEEN 70% TO 90% ATTEND BECAUSE THEY WERE
INVITED BY A FRIEND OR RELATIVE.
THE MOST EFFECTIVE WEAPONS AGAINST HELL ARE THE FAMILY AND FRIENDS.
THIS IS OUR MISSION FIELD.
Why cry for Africa, if we can’t see the lost people we rub elbows with on a daily basis?
Let me show you the truth.
Lucy started coming to our church.
Lucy brought Sherman (now with the Lord).
They brought Sherman,Jr (son, gloriously saved and baptized),
Sabrina, Sherman lll, and Seth.
Lucy also got Shirley to come, Shirley was a backslider, on Easter,
Shirley’s heart was touched.
(Shirley now serves on my board.)
Shirley brought Peggy.
Peggy has brought at least 8 family members.
Peggy brought Glen and Karen, Karen brought Lacy.
Glen is now on my board.
Lucy is a very quiet, reserved person,
but she has been responsible for 20 people at church,
and 8 of these are now faithful workers.
Bob and Texie brought Joyce, my treasurer now.
Joyce brought Mike (now playing the guitar),
Mike brought Pat,
Pat brought her brother’s family and some cousins, Austin, Chrissy, and Halley.
Joyce brought Ronnie and Jennie, Matt, Shelby, Lindsey.
Joyce brought Melissa (plays the flute for us).
Melissa brought Ryan, Ryan occasionally brings his brother, and Dawson. Joyce also brought Granny Tibbs.
Joyce is responsible for 12 very active members and workers at church.
Can I tell you a truth and you will not be angry at me? ?
NEW PEOPLE BRING NEW PEOPLE!! OLD PEOPLE SET IN THE PEW?
Before you get real mad at me, ask around?
Old people grow stale and forget about the ministry of friends and family. WHAT CAN YOU DO? FIRST QUIT MAKING EXCUSES!
