Dear friends: Part#4 Basketcases holders.
TEXT:
Romans 15:30 Now I beseech you brethren, for the Lord Jesus Christ’s sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that ye strive together with me in your prayers to God for me;
31. That I may be delivered from them that do not believe in Judea and that my service which I have for Jerusalem may be accepted of the saints;
32: That I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed. 33: Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.
Col. 4:3 Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:
2 Corinthians 11:33 And through a window in a basket was I let down by the wall, and escaped his hands.
Matthew 10:42And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of COLD wateronly in the name of a disciple, very I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.
1Chron.16:22 ... Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
Part 4, Basketcase series.
Today I will close my pondering, the basketcase series, I am not finished, but I hope to keep a few readers.
My writings are worthless, unless God gives me readers, and if my readers will not enlarge my hands and pass the writings for others to ponder, my work is limited.
I have fasted my TV time to minister on the computer for a space of time.
I don’t ask you to agree with everything I say, but I do ask you to ponder and think about what I say.
May my words birth new depth in our spirit man that will launch a greater servanthood for Jesus?
Some never read, others read every word and ask for more.
I give my time and effort freely.
If no one reads a word I am richer for giving. I sow the seed, it is not in my hands--- what becomes of it, only God can give the increase.
Again, this series is not a lesson on how to determine who is and who "ain’t" the man/woman of God.
(For the sake of space, I call it a man of God, but God uses women, also.)
Some said, but Lord we healed and cast out demons in your name.
Jesus said, I am sorry, I don’t know you.
So, it appears there are some active workers that lack proper motives and personal experiences.
I will assure you someday, the Lord of the Harvest will separate the wheat from the tares, until then we must be about our Father’s Business, which is to seek and save that which is lost.
I want to lay a BIBLICAL FORMULA to lift God’s men.
Paul was the basketcase preacher that was given a support group to hold his rope. (Text 2 Cor. 11:33)
Paul’s work was advanced as little people contributed and supported and thus enabled and enlarged the arm’s reach of the man of God.
Any real man of God’s vision will reach far beyond his ability, and far beyond his supporters abilities into the realm of ONLY GOD.
The question boils down to this:
Can God? Or God can!
Here is a BIBLICAL FORMULA established by the man of God for the people of God to pray informed and in agreement to push the man of God to new heights.
This is a 5 fold prayer that the nucleus of supporters should pray on a regular basis for the men of God.
We must teach this, and ask others to do this. Once a year I make an appeal, I duplicate this basic prayer and give a copy to every one as I seek a support prayer team.
#1) PRAY FOR UNITY
(Rom.15:30 ---for Jesus Christ sake, and for the LOVE of the Spirit, that you strive together with me in your prayers to God for me.)
United we stand, divided we fall.
The enemy can quietly sneak into the church and discord be sown and limits the growth of any church.
We must pray and seek unity earnestly.
Amos 3:3 How can two walk together unless they agree?
For good, that will endure time and test we must come together in unity.
We must divorce ourselves from our ideas and programs, and allow room to agree to disagree and not take as personal attacks?
Where two or three agree as touching--- again we established the man of God is not always right, but we can’t practice spiritual abortion over disagreement.
We need healthy discussion and freedom to express our opinions, but we must know how to submit.
Noah’s plan for the ark was not to allow his son to add a sun deck.
Yet, Noah needed each of his sons to accomplish God’s plan.
Please stop and read 1 John2:19, this verse discusses why people leave, ---they were never of you to start with--- allow people to leave, but don’t shut the back door.
I have found if you keep loving many will come home, and come home with a more agreeable heart.
We are in the last days, we must focus and keep unity as a goal, but we need DIVINE UNITY, and this is only attained by prayer (and fasting.)
Please pray for unity in the church, in your family.
If we make a difference it will be because we have loved the brethren.
The enemy will try to stop DIVINE UNITY, it is the basketcase holders, along with the basket case ministries duty to seek and pray for unity. JESUS BRING UNITY TO THE BODY, PLEASE.
#2.) PRAY FOR DELIVERANCE.
(Rom.15:31 Pray that I might be delivered--- )
The body must see there is an all out attack against the men of God.
The enemy is coming against any ministry that is trying, this is not a human or government attack, this is a demonic attack and every weapon the enemy has in his arsenal is being used.
Pray that the men of God will be delivered from temptation.
Earnestly seek a new spiritual freedom and liberation for God’s men.
Pray that the rescuing power of the cross will go before the ministers and they identify the trap before they near destruction.
How happy we will be when we reach heaven’s sod and see our prayers set ministers free to accomplish God’s work.
We must not surrender God’s people over to the enemy.
I fear many fallen ministries were not prayer bombarded for deliverance. Birth in others the desire to cry to the Holy One for deliverance of God’s workers.
I have fought demons all night, in Haiti voodoo demons tried to kill me, and the cry of basket holders delivered me.
Pray for deliverance beyond your doors, for missions, for all God’s workers. Will you pray and teach others to pray for deliverance in the church? JESUS, PLEASE BRING ACTIVE DELIVERANCE INTO OUR CHURCHES.
#3 PRAY FOR ACCEPTANCE---
(Rom.15:31---MAY BE ACCEPTED OF THE SAINTS.)
I can’t believe this prayer command. Is it sad when we have to pray for the saints to accept the man of God?
This should be automatic?
But just because the man of God is the man of God does not mean they will accept God’s man, how sad?
We need to receive willingly without protest the ministry.
We live in a day that we doubt everything but doubt?
We need a group of supporters on the altar earnestly battling in the spiritual realm for a spirit in the heart of God’s people to accept God’s men.
If ever we needed this prayer it is today.
We live in a "hard hearted," media dictated society. Again the man of God is not perfect, but he needs you to call on others to bind in total agreement for this "acceptance of the saints that crosses denominational and traditional barriers.
PLEASE, JESUS, BIRTH A NEW ACCEPTANCE OF GOD’S MAN IN THE CHURCH.
I have some sinners that accept me easier than some saints?
#4.) PRAY FOR JOY AND REFRESHMENT FOR THE SPIRIT MAN AND THE FLESHLY MAN OF GOD.
(Rom.15:32 ----with JOY ---may be REFRESHED)
The secret of staying spiritually refreshed is found in
Isa. 40:31 They that wait upon the Lord shall renew ---
Neh.8:10 ---The Joy of the Lord is our strength.
Where there is a loss of JOY, soon follows burn out, and even getting burned up.
The people of God must see there is a stress factor on Christian workers and their homes.
See that the pastor spends time with his family. Take him out to eat?
Mail him a little note of appreciation? Buy his wife a dress?
We need the laughter restored to ministry, laughter can be medicine. But more than what you can do, pray for HIS JOY TO BE FULL.
If he makes a mistake, that isn’t to bad, over look it. If you feel you must correct him, fast and pray, approach him one on one.
For every criticism brag on him twice. You don’t have to play "GOD’S LITTLE HEAD SHRINKER," someone will come along and do that for you, just edify the man of God, make and pray him a better worker.
PLEASE, GOD BIRTH SOME PRAYER WARRIORS TO CLAIM JOY AND REFRESHMENT FOR YOUR MAN WITH YOUR PLAN.
#5 PRAY FOR AN OPEN DOOR.
We move to Colossians 4:3, here Paul is writing and ask for another prayer ---
Praying for us that God would OPEN unto us a DOOR --- this prayer for the basketcases is that there will be no confining barrier to shut out or lock in ministry.
To follow open doors workers need someone to share the load of current work.
There are millions going to HELL, we need new ideas, we need freedom to try some new ideas. NEVER SAY WE HAVE NEVER DONE IT THAT WAY BEFORE.
We need the creative ability of the Holy Spirit to cause new, daring ideas to blossom. I learn some things to do, and I learn never try that again?
The workers for God must not be expected to keep clean stalls,
TRY then TRY AGAIN. PLEASE JESUS OPEN DOORS FOR MINISTRY AND CAUSE A HOLY BOLDNESS TO TRY.
PLEASE HELP ENLARGE MY HANDS AND GET PAUL’S PRAYER FORMULA FOR LEADERS INTO PRAYER WARRIORS HANDS.
1) UNITY.
2) DELIVERANCE
3) ACCEPTANCE.
4) JOY & REFRESHMENT
5) OPENED DOOR. (Rom. 15:30-33 and Col. 4:3)
