ARE YOU FAITHFUL?

Perhaps, God wanders today, why some ask for so much yet they are never faithful?
TEXT:
You do err, because you don’t know the Word of
God....
(Mat. 22:29)
Faith comes from hearing the Word of God...
(Rom. 10:17)
Psa. 119:11 Thy WORD have I hid in mine heart, that
I might not sin against God.
Psa. 122:1 I was glad when they said unto me, LET US
GO INTO THE HOUSE OF THE LORD.
Today, I ponder --- Why should I attend church?
Today, we hear may opinions about church attendance
and if it is mandatory? How sad, when the work of
God is --
"DO I HAVE TO... ?"
We usually say I feel ...?
Or I think ...?
Or Momma said ...?
I am amazed at the many opinions that do not
consider what God says...!
Or what the Bible says ...!!!
Contrary to popular opinion, the Bible is truth and all else becomes lies or deceit.
Sunday School is so optional, that many churches are
deleting Sunday school, just as one would deletes
emails from the computer.
People being unfaithful control the tone?
S.S. develops learning opportunities, with a chance of building better relationships with other people and families.
Sunday School then opens opportunities to build
support structures to reinforce Godliness.
S.S. helps minister by age groups and thus train for
future ministry.
I sometimes cry, when I think of the verse,
You do err, because you don’t know the Word of
God....
(Mat. 22:29)
If our enemy can keep us weak in the Word, we will be weak in our works, and weak in Faith. If we are unfaithful our growth will always be limited.
Faith comes from hearing the Word of God...
(Rom. 10:17)
So our enemy wants you to avoid every opportunity
that you can or where you will be ministered to ...,
or to minister to others.
How did David quit sinning and become a man after God’s own heart? David please tell us.
Psa. 119:11 Thy WORD have I hid in mine heart, that

Psa.109:4 ...But I give myself to prayer.
Psa. 122:1 I was glad when they said unto me,
LET US GO INTO THE HOUSE OF THE LORD.
DAVID ESTABLISHED A PRIORITY SYSTEM.
If you become what God has planned for you, you must
follow these same steps.
The Word, consistent PRAYER LIFE, and FAITHFULNESS TO THE LOCAL BODY will build better people and a better community.
We don’t use people to build better churches,
we use the church to build better people.
WE HAVE TO MANY "GRASSHOPPER PROPHETS" TODAY.
We have to many unfaithful people jumping from here
to there, with no root structure, that want to tell
the faithful what is wrong, and where to get off.
My Bible says, 1 Cor. 4:2 Moreover, it is required in stewards, that a man (woman) be found faithful.
I have had evangelist, singers and District Officials come to sing and preach.
We put them in a motel, so they would be close to
the church, and they skip Sunday School to "PRAY?"
They are teaching my people a bad lesson, that
Sunday School is not important.
I will tell you now, I get up earlier and study and
pray before S.S.
I vote for S.S. by attending.
Your presence will be a VOTE on how important you
think Sunday School Attendance really is. ???
How do you cast you VOTE?
Don’t tell others, SHOW THEM.
Pastor’s are afraid to speak, and thus compromise
the power of the Gospel.
We say I would rather have a morning glory than no
glory? Well, this is true, but we need
to stress the importance of learning and coming
together.
Leaders that are poor examples should repent and
correct this bad behavior.
How about Psa.55:14, We took sweet counsel together, and walked unto the house of God together?
WHAT YOU VALUE YOU WILL FIND TIME FOR? ???????????????
#1 ATTENDING CHURCH HONORS GOD.
When we gather together, we pay homage, love, and
respect to the Most High and the Most Holy.
Faithfulness to church is the best witness you can
give to the community and your family!
God deserves to be PRAISE in public worship.
There is something special when groups get together,
come expecting, hear the WORD and then act upon
theWord.
Two can do more than one, 100 more than 10.
By absenting ourselves from collective worship, we
speak volumes.
Can the Pastor count on you?
How many in a terrible battle today, could have been
delivered Sunday or Wednesday.
The powerful Word of God was delivered, and many
missed it.
Look at all Thomas missed by avoiding assembling
together.
His doubt came as a results of a low priority of
attendance.
2000 years later Thomas is known as the doubter.
#2 YOU NEED CHURCH ATTENDANCE.
Heb. 10:25 Forsaking not the assembling of
ourselves together, as the manner of some is;
and so much the more, as you see that day
approaching.
Every individual is accountable.
You reap what you sow, lazy church attendance
usually means lazy giving patterns?
Lazy witness patterns?
Ever heard a man say, I worship God at the lake?
I say what scripture did you expound?
What was the offering?
Did you set the boat off shore and preach to those
on the beach?
Is your pastor a 1/10 owner of your boat?
They don’t even have a Bible or a song book there?
I think we are becoming creation worshippers and
forgetting the Creator?
I have never see these creature worshippers as part
of revival?
Coming together as individuals strengthens the
church as well as the individual.
Why does the WORD say be faithful attenders,
especially in the last days, --- if it were not true?
#3 YOUR FAMILY NEEDS TO LEARN FAITHFULNESS TO THE LOCAL BODY!!
I begged a friend of mine to go to church with us
and take her son.
She refused, but she allowed me to take her son.
I did for years.
When he got 13, he slept late just like his mom and
dad.
I moved away.
Years later, I received a call, momma was crying.
Her son had stolen some guns and was in jail.
We looked though the bars, at this precious young
man. His momma cried,
"Please, go to church with me, PLEASE?"
With cold bitterness, the son replied,
"Momma, I begged you to go to church with me when I
was little, I WILL NOT GO WITH YOU NOW."
I paid to get the guns out of pawn, and got him out
of trouble.
In weeks, he was in trouble again, and pull some
hard time.
Today momma goes to church alone and sheds many
tears.
Our children will not get the Bible training and
root system they need at school, even in home
schooling.
Our children need to come together and learn to
worship and praise.
Our children need to learn giving and tithing.
They need to learn social skills and coping to face
the real world.
They need to hear the heart of missions.
Without parents in church, the stats show very few
children will stay faithful though the danger years.
Families in church are not perfect, but in church
the Holy Spirit can teach and birth in them a
concern for the lost.
The church is by far a better place to met a mate
than in a bar.
Brotherly kindness, the 10 Commandments, and real
character comes by frequent visits to the altar.
Many of the great people of the Bible had parents
burning for the Lord.
Samuel’s mother knew how to touch God, and her son,
birthed by prayer, would change the course of
history and would anoint two Kings, all
because of the value of the church and God.
I have seen so many, up and down, in and out,
unfaithful, not consistent parents cry many tears
of regret.
Our kids know more about Barney, Bert, Ernie, and
Lion King than the KING OF KINGS and the LORD OF
LORDS.
Guns go to school, where Bibles cannot? Fear looms
ever present, because there is little love for
faithfulness to God’s house.
#4 OTHERS NEED YOU TO BE FAITHFUL.
There is a local pastor that needs your talent.
He is probably overworked and under paid.
Pastors are often discouraged by low/ unfaithful
attendance, just your faithfulness would encourage
the little man of God.
You could help take some of his load, and be that
laborer for which he has been praying.
By helping the pastor you could bring blessings on
your home.
I Thes.4:18 Comfort one another.
We can encourage others that their hands hang down.
There are workers that are tired and near quitting,
you could help them to go a little further.
How can you encourage your brothers and sisters if
you are never there?
Your input in a Bible study is needed?
Your prayer could bring healing to the sick?
Your trip to the altar could speak truth and set a
bound person free.
The TV church is no substitute for the local body.
Most TV preachers will verify this.
But still many fail to attend and ease their
conscience by watching edited ministry.
TV ministries are not authorized by God to receive
tithes.
The Bible clearly states to bring your tithes to the
local storehouse.
Your tithes and attendance belong to a local church.
MAY ALL EXCUSES CEASE.
GOD AND HIS WORD VERY CLEARLY STATE THAT NEED TO BE FAITHFUL.
YOU NEED TO BE FAITHFUL TO A LOCAL BODY.
VERY FEW WILL READ THIS, BUT MY HANDS ARE RELEASED
AS I PROCLAIM THE WORD.
FEWER WILL READ THIS AND DO IT,BECAUSE THIS IS NOT
A POPULAR MESSAGE.
BUT THAT IS NOT MY JOB. YOU CAN IGNORE THE WORD IF
YOU PLEASE, BUT YOU ARE ACCOUNTABLE.
Will God find faith and faithfulness when Jesus returns? Well, it is up to you!
