HANDLE HURT?

Text: Matthew 24:10 And then many shall be offended, and shall betray one another,
and shall hate one another.
Matthew 18:22 Jesus saith unto them,
I say not unto you,
UNTIL SEVEN TIMES:
BUT UNTIL SEVENTY TIMES SEVEN.
Hebrews 12: 12 Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;
13 And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.
14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness
springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled.
I ponder hurt.
Those that loved Jesus came to him as he sat upon the Mount of Olives.
They had many questions that needed answering.
One question was, WHEN?
Lord what will be the signs of Your Coming?
Jesus had many visible signs to watch and to be
prepared.

Jesus had a great lesson here to offer,
in the last days there would come in the church
an attitude of hurt and offended spirits.
Jesus warned us to be ready for this day, GET READY.
I hope it will not be too strong, but this offended attitude will give birth to an OFFENDED SPIRIT THAT WILL THRIVE AND GROW WITHIN THE CHURCH.
WE MUST KNOW THIS ATTITITUDE OR SPIRIT
WILL TRY TO ESTABLISH IT’S DOMAIN
WITHIN THE WALLS OF THE CHURCH.
Preachers, teachers, Christian workers are having to deal with HURT on a daily basis.
We see the enemy working over time to get God’s
people hurt, disappointed, and bitter
with others.
So you have been hurt?
The tears turn to steam?
Why God?
How long, O, God?
I am so wounded that life ebbs away?
Who cares?
Why don’t you bury the hatchet, and not in the
offenders head?
The Bible warns us that bitterness is a root and grows unground, out of the visiual fields, and this hurt and disappointmented spirit can grow.

You can cut down the visible growth, and the roots will regrow the problem, hurt is an internal problem.
There seems to thrive within the walls of the church
mean, vengeful, angry,
bitter, cynical, cold,
hateful, venomous,
hostile hearts and minds .
Hurt and bitterness will always backfire and self destroy.
Hatred can hide in the hearts sitting on the pew singing praise to the Most High?
Bitterness and hurt are masks that hid the real issue ...
the real issue is unforgiveness
and looking on the negative side.
With this bitterness free flowing, one is not capable of accepting the love of God and great pleasure in living.
Life is 10% what happens to us, and 90% what we do with what happens within us.
Any weak person can hold a grudge for years, only the strong can forgive.
Do we really forgive and forget,
when we recall and throw up the past,
... now and then?
Religious leaders of Jesus’ day taught you must forgive 7 times a day.
Jesus expanded this teaching to the Nth degree.
Matthew 18:22 Jesus saith unto them,
I say not unto you, UNTIL SEVEN TIMES:
BUT UNTIL SEVENTY TIMES SEVEN.
There is a great lesson in forgiving 490 times.
Which is easier to forgive 490 times?
or to ask for forgiveness that many times?
Do you ask for forgiveness 490 times?
Will you forgive?
Could it be sometimes the worst thing that could happen to us, could be the best thing to happen ???
If your enemy brings you closer to God, ... is he your friend?
We are on the road to wisdom,
if we would have a special cemetery where we would
dig and bury the faults of others ...
bury the faults of friends, foes, and loved ones,
and remember we too are not perfect,
and we need forgiveness.
For you see, the best way to get even is to forgive and forget.
By forgiving you end the quarrel.
When you forgive you set someone free? Yourself?
I have been forgiven, for this I am grateful.
If I forgive others, I in turn, set myself free.
A HUG is more liken unto God than a slap.
When you refuse to forgive,
you burn the bridge on which you must cross to reach heaven.
To err is human, to forgive is divine ... which will you do?
To look at a beautiful picture of water will never satisfy a thirst?
To hold to an offense will never benefit an
individual.
Forgiveness is easy if you love!
Never forget: An person unforgiving ... dies unforgiven.
Forgive and lay it at the foot of the cross.
God keeps good records.
Moses said, if you don’t forgive them, blot me out also...
Will you say the same?
Give it to Jesus and trust Him.
Be kind, tender hearted, forgiving one another,
even as you are forgiven... Eph.4:32.
To submit for the payment from the cross,
I submit the debt to the Name of Jesus.
I choose to forgive.
Sure you are going to be hurt,
dealing with people and pressure
are part of the Last Day walk,
we must learn to expect hurt and learn to
practice LOVE and forgiveness.
What has been meant for harm can be a stepping stone to greater victory,
To forgive is Divine.
