Where are you in the schooling process?

Today I ponder school and learning. Where are you in the schooling process?
I think it is possible to go to school and not learn the lessons intended?
The size of a person is determined by the depth of his convictions, the height of his ambitions, the breadth of his mercy and the reach of his love.
God needs people great enough to be small enough to be available to be used for God’s will. God is not punishing you, He is preparing you.
Most know my dad is a pastor, so I went to schools in 5 states, 3 years the longest tenure. I have learned a little and walk in a daily learning process.
The highest school of learning in God’s arsenal is the Graduate School of Affliction and Suffering. All of God’s greatest workers had to attend this graduate school. If you are a chosen vessel and have a work to do for God you will attend and learn in God’s schools. Many of the most important lessons of life come by trials and tribulation. This process of time teaches trust and faith in the Plan of the Most High.
Are you in God’s training school? What is God trying to prepare you to do?
1) WHAT DO YOU KNOW?
You know little until a few basic facts are stored into your memory.
The first thing we know, is it is easy to forget in the mist of a battle what we know.
Rom. 8:28 And we know that all things work together for the good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to HIS PURPOSE.
Often we focus this verse on "for the good." That is OK, but the focus must be "HIS PURPOSE."
Life and schooling have purpose. We must not aimlessly drift from one shallow experience to the next, we must learn and see a process.
It is very easy to forget everything that happens to you has a purpose, a lesson.
When I taught school we were required to have "Daily Lesson Plans." The plans established a daily goal for what was expected.
These goals were not always achieved, but they were before us. Most Christians and Workers never develop an ATTACK PLAN TO ACHIEVE "HIS PURPOSE."
To develop an Attack Plan we need to know what His Purpose is? What do you know?
2) YOU CAN PRAY FOR EXEMPTION FROM THE TRIALS AND TRIBULATIONS, BUT GOD’S PLAN MAY DIFFER FROM YOUR PRESUMPTIONS AND EXPECTATIONS.
2 Cor. 12:9 ---My grace is sufficient, God uses weaknesses, I GLORY IN MY INFIRMITIES ----
How? How Brother Paul?
After Paul is an old man, he sees God does not removed the thorns, for the thorns, that he asked to be removed 3 times, -- had a PURPOSE.
How much wiser we would be if we see there was a plan and purpose and the thorns were a check system of God.
3) TRIALS, TRIBULATIONS, AFFLICTIONS AND INFIRMITIES ARE TEMPORARY. YOU CAN BEAR THEM, THERE IS AN ESCAPE.
Psa 30:5 For His anger endure but a moment, ----weeping may endure for a night, BUT JOY COMETH-----
1 Cor. 10:13 What you experience is common to man,
(You are not the only one!) --- also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to BEAR IT.
You can bear it, if you want to.... Do you want to?
Schooling and learning is a process, it is mandatory. Slow learners repeat. How many times Lord? Until you learn.
4) THERE IS A PROCESS OF TIME IN GOD’S SCHOOLING.
Let’s look at the schooling process of a great man of God and see if there can be any parallels for us.
GOD HAD A PLAN A PURPOSE FOR MOSES.
Don’t forget Moses walked through many hard, difficult lessons that were preparational in nature.
The new Pharaoh forgot history, and the men of God.
Amram and Jochebed, Moses’ parents could not see God had a plan as they were slaves in a foreign land.
The law was passed to destroy the sons, the seed of the promise.
Where is God’s plan?
Don’t worry momma, God will see that you get paid to breast-feed your son.
God has a plan and it will unfold in stages and in a process of time.
As Miriam hid in the bushes, God had Pharaoh’s daughter in place, DIVINE TIMING.
The very man that condemned Moses’ life, --- will pay for his training and education.
God’s vessel appears to be at THE END, but he was called according to HIS PURPOSE.
Again, it appears to the eye, God’s man is a "BASKET CASE," this is a demonic distortion.
God saw this little baby on the Nile River.
1) The first school for the man of God was momma’s knee, what did momma teach?
What Mom and Dad taught in the first 5 to 6 years, could not be undone by 34 years in Pharaoh’s Palace.
A) In this home the word was taught. Remember 3
great workers arise from these parents. Aaron,
Miriam, and Moses.
Read Prov. 22:6. Moses learned of Adam and Eve, Cain
and Abel, Noah, Abraham, Israel, Joseph and Esau.
The Word of God does the Work of God.
Get the Word in the heart.
B) Moses would have learned HONOR-RESPECT from these
Jewish parents. That a good name was priceless.
Moses learned a sense of conduct and behavior.
C) Rules and Discipline.
D) Identity, son God saved you for a purpose.
Who am I?
E) Work Ethics were taught in a Jewish home. (Not
3rd and 4th welfare generations.)
F) The home’s greatest lesson was COMPASSION.
Real Compassion is best taught by a process of
suffering. Years later this compassion will launch
in a course of action.
2) The school of the Palace and Peer Pressure.
A) Knowledge. Moses learned book wisdom. The more
you know the better outreach you can develop.
B) CONTROL.
Moses is going to learn the complexities of life and
control and self discipline. He will learn to keep
emotions in check.
C) Language skills
This would be needed later and God allow Pharaoh to
pay for this education.
D) Administrative Abilities,
management techniques and delegation.
E) Leadership, many believe leadership skills are
given by God at birth, if this is true, Egypt helped
polish these skills.
3) POST GRADUATE SCHOOL,
the back side of the desert!
One day Moses saw mistreatment, and the gears of his life will change and he will never be able to return.
The Divine Plan releases what appears to be a very long, ugly process.
This process is preparatory in nature and what appears bad is very good.
A) Stand for the underdogs, at the well Moses helped
the ladies get water.
B) Shepherding Techniques, to lead at pace of the
group. Shovel dung. Learn to keep peace. Many of
God’s great men learned shepherding skills.
C) Real love, Moses meets Zipporah and begins family
life.
D) Humility, Moses learned lowliness modesty,
meekness, and not assertiveness. But all the time
Moses heart cried within him, I know there is more?
Moses’ lessons taught him how to stay humble.
E) PATIENCE: bear pain and trials calmly without
complaint.
Moses never could have learned patience in the
palace.
F) LEARNED TO RECOGNIZE THE VOICE OF GOD. Perhaps
Moses would not have recognized the burning bush
earlier in life?
Earth is crammed with heaven, and
every common bush aflame with God!
BUT ONLY HE WHO SEES---- TAKES OFF HIS SHOES.
Some hear thunder, others hear GOD?
The first 40 years Moses thought "He was somebody."
The next 40 years "He thought he was a No Body!"
The last 40 years Moses had learned "GOD IS
EVERYTHING!"
WHERE ARE YOU IN THE SCHOOLING PROCESS?
The hearts cry must be --- "THERE IS MORE THAN THIS!"
What kills God’s kids is not seeing a plan and a purpose.
You are being schooled and prepared for the journey ahead. Focus and dream. Dream and focus. God will pull you through if you can stand the pull.
Submit and learn to grow toward the light.
His servant,
