14. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
Introduction: We as Christian can recite John 3:16, Matthew 28:19,20; and many other scriptures, so what. What good does saying and not displaying the scripture do? James tells us to be “hearers and doers of the word”. So the question I want to ask the church is when will words become flesh.
1. Our words. What are you saying is a question that people ask all the time? That question not only deals with our articulation by what we were saying. Is your conversation seasoned with salvation, blended with blessings, and filled with faith. Our conversation should be godly and becoming of a Christian.
2. Our walk. Many Christians do not struggle with the words but with the walk. The problem with many unbelievers is they hear one thing and see another coming for us. I ask again when will our God’s word become part of our flesh.
3. Our witness. When we make God’s word flesh then we will not have to tell people we are saved, they will know. People will behold the glory of God in us, when the word becomes flesh in our life.
