TITLE: Be warned
TEXT: Pro 22: 3, Gen 21:8-9
INTRODUCTION
For every grace you have received, there is a boundary.
For Every New Level, there is a new devil.
Every anointing has no-go area.
That you are this or that didn’t make you God and with that I stand to tell you today, please be warned.
Are you with God’s grace, are you called, are you ordained, are you constantly hearing his voice, I say please be warned.
People of God, there are somethings God don’t joke with, there are some people God don’t play with.
Remember, God said “touch not my anointed and do my prophets no harm” I Ch 16:19-22. Is that correct?
Can you boldly tell me how many of His prophets is here today or that you have met in life?. God stand by his Word always, the day you touch His anointed, you became his enemy. Are you also God’s anointed, please be warned why, you are not the only anointed one. If you hate a person God loved, you have dig your grave. Please, be warned.
EXPOSITION
A.What do you have?
PLEASE, let us all Be careful of these SEVEN things: “Position, Popularity, Connections, Gift, Grace, Anointing and Friends”
If you are not careful,
1.Your Grace can disgrace you.
2.Your connections can disconnect.
3.Your gift can gift you shame.
4.Your position can make you loose your post.
5.Your popularity can end your purpose.
6.Your anointing can assassinate your ministry.
7.Your friend can fan you against God.
Which of your instruments are you using wrongly?
Moses have a Staff - Gen 4:1ff
Moses staff was Moses gift, it was his connection, it was his Grace etc.
1.Moses threw it as instructed and it turned to snake. Ex 4:3 An event God Himself ordered and witnessed.
2.It became the Moses’s greater asset - “The staff of God” He was without if when he fled Egypt, but going back with it. Ex 4:20.
3.It was used to in sending thunder and hail. Ex 9:23
4.It was used to send east wind to the land of Egypt. Ex 10:13
5.The same staff was used to smite the Rock “God” and water come out. Ex 17:5-6
6.When the Israelites were at war with the Amalekites, the raising of this staff brought victory to the Israelites. Ex 17:9-11
7.Moses committed the worst error of his life and Ministry using the same Staff. Numbers 20: 8-11. The end of Moses ministry
Yes, water gushed out as against what happening Ex 17:6 where water came out.
Hear God score card for Moses, “Because you did not trust me enough to demonstrate my holiness to the people of Israel, you will not lead them into the land I am giving them!
B.Learn From Ishmael
His Name - Gen 16:11 God Hears
What a rear Grace to carry Gods promises, twice God spoke about him
a.God’s 1st promises - Gen 16:12
b.God’s 2nd promises - Gen 17:20
And in Gen 21:8-9 He mocked the covenanted Child (Someone who carried higher anointing).
Listen to this:
i.Isaac was younger but Greater.
ii.Smaller but higher
iii.Though can’t speak yet higher
iv.Inexperience but bigger
v.Thought still feeding on milk yet Mightier
vi.Unskilled yet still he is higher
vii.May not even be able to take decisions of his own still higher
Be warned, as all that glitters are not gold. Remember Jesus was a child but yet higher, he was killed yet higher be warned otherwise you may by yourself drives your vision, destiny, future into the wilderness.
C.Just a little Mistake
He mock Isaac. Kia, How? He laughed and that a minute laugher almost killed his joy for ever.
In fact sadness and cry became his hobby just because of a “second laughter”
Why did He laugh self?
Read Gen 21:8 Abraham made a great feast because Isaac was weaned
Ishmael being around 16 years old was thinking why are they celebrating, just because he was weaned they are doing all this... my question is what his is problem, why can’t he just face his own life?
The result of that day mistake was tears, and discomfort of many years, brethren, what has also put you into troubles, are you till thinking your household enemies are as powerful to this extent? Have you not at one point or the other passed your boundaries?
Are you not suffering because God is Fighting for a higher anointing you have mocked/wronged Pro 23:11.
D.Be Warned
Listen Fathers in the house, Don’t celebrate over your gift, Grace, connection just because it working for you. Please be warned.
1.Are you good at something? Be warned.
2.Are people praising you? Be warned.
3.Is God using you mighty now? Be warned.
4.Are you the favorite of the Family, Church, Organization etc, please be warned.
5.Are you influential? Please be warned.
6.Are you a sone of one of the Authorities of this Mission? Please be warned.
7.Are you working with one of the highly placed Ministers in this Mission? Please be warned.
8.Are you are Planter or Prophet? And God is showing his power in your ministry? Please be warned.
9.Have you been promised juicy station after ordination? Please be warned.
10.Are you waging war secretly against anyone? Please be warned.
11.Are you still walking in the flesh? Please be warned.
Are you hearing this too late?
Eventually Ishmael, repentant and cried to God who comes to his rescue. Gen 21:17 and speak, and open the eyes of his Mother. Abraham could not father him again physically because “Opportunity lost may never be regained” physically however, his repentance and sincere prayer brought him to the care of almighty Gen 21:20a
Thereafter, he grew and have a place to live and have a work.
Conclusion.
The journey of Joseph was not straight because of his mouth, please be warned.
Ishmael almost loss his destiny just because of one second laugh, please be warned
Israelite stayed extra 30 years in Egypt just because of one careless act of Moses.
Be warned. Less rise up!
