Learn to walk in victory.
Victory is the reality of a successful Christian life, and no one can argue against success! Get practical about your faith in Christ and refuse to accept Christianity as merely a form without power.
Our call as believers is to victory.
We are the true overcomers of the world. There is no other hope for people to walk in victory than Christ. God desires that we be practical examples of what only true children of God possess. When we face difficult challenges, we must remember that the world will not respect God in our lives unless we can demonstrate that He is GOD. This is why it is critical that we develop the strength to walk in victory.
3 WAYS TO BE STRONG AND START WALKING IN VICTORY
1. Keep Faith Alive within You.
As Christians, we are victorious through faith. One of the most important responsibilities we have since being born again is to keep our faith alive. Living faith produces victorious Christians. Christians who have been defeated bear the mark of dead faith.
Faith can die unless it is deliberately kept alive. Our faith is precious in the eyes of the Lord. The same faith threatens Satan, and all of his efforts are directed towards rendering your faith ineffective. Three important disciplines sustain our faith. By grounding it in the Bible, practicing our faith, and praying frequently in the power of the Holy Spirit.
2. Put what you're learning in the Word into action.
The Lord specifically told me some time ago why so many Christians are weak and unable to walk in victory. He stated that they do not practise what they learn from God's Word. Many wonderful brethren in the Church are failing to put what they have been taught into practice.
It is possible to be a good teacher and preacher of the Word while not walking in victory. Practice is the most powerful tool for learning. Those who do not apply what they teach or learn from God's Word will not benefit from it. If we become serious about applying what we are learning from God's Word, we will begin to walk practically in victory.
3. Practice Tongue Control.
Tongue control is an important discipline for learning to walk in victory.
Some of us experience spiritual power leakage because we do not practise tongue control. We gain strength from the Lord and lose it through careless speaking.
As I study the people God uses, it becomes clear to me that those who truly walked in victory were not careless talkers. They weren't idle speakers. If we want to walk in the victory that Christ has obtained for us, we must give the Spirit of the Lord complete control over our mouths, speaking only what the Lord desires. Regardless of your current spiritual experience, you will be strong to walk in victory if you keep your faith alive, practise what you are learning from the Word, and practise tongue control.
Please pray the following prayers with intense understanding and in the Spirit.
1. Thank God for granting us victory through Christ.
2. Father, help me walk more in victory.
3. Father, help me not to accept a defeated Christian life.
4. I ask for Grace to sustain my faith in Jesus.
5. In Jesus' name, I ask for Grace to put God's Word into practice.
6. I ask Grace to start walking practically in Victory.
7. Holy Spirit, take full control of my mouth.
8. Declare that the LORD will strengthen your faith in Jesus name.
9. Declare your victory over all evil forces in the name of Jesus.
10. Declare that you have complete victory in Jesus name.
