MY MESSAGE FOR THE CHURCH SERVICE FOR PRESIDENT TRUMP
At the outset, I need to say, I am not being precocious here, so please do not judge me as that. Please understand. As an outsider and not residing in the United States, it does give me one advantage of being more impartial.
I was so utterly disgusted with the Church Prayer Service for President Trump on 21 January 2025 for his Inauguration that afterwards I sat down and wrote a message that I would have given had that been my lot. I have held on to it but now decided I want to post it.
After an introduction I will then present the message I would have given.
INTRODUCTION
How many of you either watched or saw parts of the Church Service for Donald trump the day of his inauguration? Did you see the total disgrace as Satan in human form conducted that service. It was presided over by Mariann Budde, a practising lesbian activist connected with the Episcopalian Church. The information I am going to share for a couple of minutes has come from Sky News and the New York Post:-
[[“Sky News host Caleb Bond has slammed the bishop who lectured US President Donald Trump during a traditional church service following revelations that her church earned $53 million in 2023 from a now-paused migrant program.
“They also owe the public a fair deal of thanks because we now know why she went so hard on Donald Trump in that sermon. It’s because her church made $53 million out of the Biden administration to resettle migrants in America under programs that Trump has now paused,” Mr Bond said.
That’s because the federal contracting arm of the church, Episcopal Migration Ministry (EMM), is paid to bring in people on resettlement programs that Trump now has temporarily paused and targeted for re-evaluation.
EMM budget figures for 2024 are not available, but in 2023 it earned $53 million from various taxpayer-funded government programs to resettle 3,600 individuals.
EMM brings in LGBTQ refugees in a special federal refugee program started during the Obama administration called “Preferred Communities.”
This program pays a premium over standard refugee resettlement for contractors that resettle “refugees experiencing social or psychological difficulties, including emotional trauma resulting from war and/or sexual or gender-based violence; survivors of torture; lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) refugees; refugees who are HIV positive; populations with physical disabilities or other medical conditions.”
The Episcopal Church also earns a commission for collecting on travel loans made to refugees resettled by EMM.

This is the abode of evil spirits, even worse than sheep in wolves’ clothing. In the name of the church that satanic organisation has brought great evil into its midst. I wash my hands of anything more to say there.

THE MESSAGE I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE DELIVERED AT THE INAUGURATION PRAYER SERVICE ON 21 JANUARY 2025
[A]. WHERE ARE MY TIMES RESIDING?
Mr President, nothing in the past is irrelevant to the present, and this is borne out by a very pertinent verse in the Psalms. David was the rightful king of Israel but he was hounded and persecuted by false pretenders and wicked men. He sat down one day and wrote Psalm 31 and there is one verse there of extreme significance. This is it –
{{Psalm 31:15 “My times are in Your hand. Deliver me from the hand of my enemies, and from those who persecute me.”}} The key here is, ”My times are in YOUR hand.” This is a Psalm wrought through the furnace of iron from David’s experience.
My times are only in the hand of God if I have willingly placed them there. Too many claim to know God but they live a life that would contradict that claim. Those who know the truth of that statement know that in the directive and permissive will of God, His hand is upon them. He controls your/our going out and our coming in.
Mr President, God will deflect the bullet designed to bring us down. True reliance in His hand will achieve much. You experienced God’s will for you twice in saving your life, and I know you realise God did that because He wants to use you. Do not take yourself out of the hand of God. God wants you to rest in no other place than in His hand through continuing trust.
There are those who flout God, whose times are not in his hands, who think they can live irresolute lives, and who think it is God’s prerogative to bless them. It does not work that way. Some even have the audacity to stand in a pulpit and promote the aims of the devil in every contradiction to the bible. They will be judged by God.
President Donald Trump was preserved by God as one in His hand, but there is no place for arrogance, but rather a humble, continuing trust. “I want my life and times to be in His hand.” May we all believe that today and act on it, not give lip-service to it.
Jesus said something that sounds objectionable to some progressives in these days. {{Matthew 12:30 “He who is not with Me is against Me and he who does not gather with Me, scatters.”}} There are the only two positions here, like the only two genders; like the only two ways; and the two destinies, and is in line with the greatest of all divisions in the bible, that of light and darkness. It can only be with Christ or against Him; there are no fence sitters.
I challenge everyone here today to examine your lives to see if your times truly reside in God’s hands. It has an eternal outcome.
[B]. THE TRANSITION TO NEW LEADERSHIP
David died at the age of 70 and God declared that his son Solomon would take his place. Man’s plans can be incomplete and ill-advised and selfish in many ways, but God’s will towards His own children is perfect, and designed for their good. Thus it was for Israel when Solomon was God’s appointment.
The transition of power usually means new things in and old things out, and some of them may be better or worse. In the case of the United States right now, it will be for the better, but the times are evil so there is much God would guide us into, and we need His guiding hand always.
Not long after Solomon became king, a special encounter happened to him. In Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream at night and God said, “Ask what you wish Me to give you.” Can you imagine the doors of opportunity that would open to some people who were given that decision?
Allow me to read four verses in this encounter – {{1 Kings 3:7-10 Now, O LORD my God, You have made Your servant king in place of my father David, yet I am but a little child. I do not know how to go out or come in, and Your servant is in the midst of Your people which You have chosen, a great people who cannot be numbered or counted for multitude, SO GIVE YOUR SERVANT AN UNDERSTANDING HEART TO JUDGE YOUR PEOPLE TO DISCERN BETWEEN GOOD AND EVIL, for who is able to judge this great people of Yours?” It was pleasing in the sight of the Lord that Solomon had asked this thing.”
Those in leadership need to understand one thing. When great responsibility is given, God will require great accountability. This was Solomon's motivation along with his realising his inadequacy in governing the people. The gracious God rewards those who humbly wait in His presence. His response to Solomon was this –
{{1 Kings 3:11-12 and God said to him, “Because you have asked this thing and have not asked for yourself long life, nor have asked riches for yourself, nor have you asked for the life of your enemies, but have asked for yourself discernment to understand justice, behold, I have done according to your words. Behold, I HAVE GIVEN YOU A WISE AND DISCERNING HEART, so that there has been no one like you before you, nor shall one like you arise after you.”}}
Humility is required, not just at the start, but throughout. David’s predecessor as king was Saul who began well as a humble man reliant on God, but he became puffed up in pride and was rejected by God because he became great in his own eyes. God will never use the gnarled tree that will not move with His will, and has lost dependence on the Lord.
Service is a key word in scripture. He who leads best, serves best. He who is humble touches the heart and mind of God, and God and will endow such a one with wisdom and discernment. He who is puffed up, God will reject, as that person becomes an abomination.
The man or woman who thinks he/she is important in his/her own estimation does not have the wind of God in the sails, and is driven by any strange wind of error and corruption. We have seen that in leadership, but when it happens, the people suffer. The Lord will lead only the humble, trusting soul.
We all know the famous Shepherd Psalm, Psalm 23, and in it there are two verses of the greatest comfort for the sheep who are God’s people – {{Psalm 23:2 “He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside quiet waters.”
Psalm 23:3 “He restores my soul. He guides me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.”}}
From the road worker to the mother at home, to the king or President of the greatest nation on earth, everyone needs the Lord’s leading and restoration, but the Lord can only lead when the sheep are willing to follow. When endowed with any great office of service to the people, then great humility under God is needed to serve rightfully in that office.
[C]. WHAT IS TRUE SERVICE?
Who was the greatest person in the New Testament not counting the Lord Jesus Christ of course? I could ask that another way – who had the greatest influence in the establishment of the Church? The Apostle Paul says a lot about service and we can search for that in his letters. I won’t cover that aspect today.
I do want to give one important ministry example from the Lord Himself when there was a dispute among His disciples and it comes from {{Mark 10:41-45 Hearing this, the ten began to feel indignant with James and John, and calling them to Himself, Jesus said to them, “You know that those who are recognised as rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them and their great men exercise authority over them, but it is not so among you, but whoever wishes to become great among you, shall be your servant, and whoever wishes to be first among you shall be slave of all, for even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”}}
Those in great leadership come not to be served but to serve, and in that way, one follows the example set by God Himself. Pride is the most destructive condition one can have, for it was the very first sin when Lucifer rose up against God in heaven, and he was thrown out.
True service relates to citizenship as a servant serves his fellow man, fellow citizens in his own nation firstly. Jesus provided one of the greatest examples of service when He served His own disciples by girding Himself, stooping down, and washed the disciples feet.
Those who follow Jesus either in Christian circles or in the secular world, especially in politics and management, need to realise they ought to be servants. I am disgusted with the pride and the air of self-importance people have when some position of authority is given to them so they strut around symbolically expecting people to bow before them. It is so wrong.
A great leader serves his own citizens as mentioned already, in humility and compassion, and I will add, with the constant help of the Lord in doing so.
My citizenship is in Australia, though at times I wish I had dual citizenship, the second being with the United States. Citizenship carries entitlement in your own nation and sometimes in others if you have a high position. Those at this service today belong to many nations and carry a wide selection of citizenship.
We know right now that millions have entered the USA illegally, and do not carry the entitlements of citizenship. Some are trying to snatch American citizenship by the wrong means. All citizenship is important throughout the world, but there is one that trumps all others.
The bible teaches that those who belong to the flock of God, Jesus Christ being the Chief Shepherd, hold a heavenly citizenship. I wish to stress that THAT citizenship is the most important citizenship you can possess.
In writing to the Philippian church Paul explained our Christian position as citizens when he wrote – {{“Our citizenship is in heaven from which also we eagerly wait for a Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ who will transform the body of our humble state into conformity with the body of His glory, by the exertion of the power that He has, even to subject all things to Himself.” (Philippians 3:20-21)
I would plead with everyone here today to make certain the most important citizenship of all is yours. You obtain that as a free gift through repentance of sin, and surrendering your life to Christ. Those who know the Lord have a heavenly citizenship, and as the verse says, we wait eagerly for the Rapture when the Lord descends from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and the trumpet of God, and takes His true Church home. For that event, Paul said in the verse, “we eagerly wait,” for that transformation.
In a parallel passage in the KJV from 1 Corinthians Paul wrote – {{“In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”}} (1 Corinthians 15:52)
Senate hearings into the President’s proposed cabinet positions can be fierce, even nasty sometimes. Marco Rubio answered this way to a question – [[[ “I’m a Christian,” Rubio answered. “I want to be very clear about something. Not only am I a Christian, and not only am I influenced by my faith, but it is the single greatest influence in my life. And from that I’ll never hide. And I’ll tell you why. Because I know that if I’m lucky, I get to live to be 85 or 90 … but I’m more interested in eternity, and the ability to live forever, with my Creator. That, you don’t believe in, but I do. And that’s what I aspire to more than anything else.” ]]]
Marco Rubio knows all about his citizenship being in heaven. I have this dual citizenship – a national one and a heavenly one.
As we draw to a close, we return to the important subject of service. While we are on this earth, fulfilling the responsibility God has given to us, let us be humble serving one another, upholding the truth always, and seeking righteousness in all situations. Through the choice of your will, place yourself in the hand of God and let your times rest there.
May the Lord bless each one and grant to us discernment, and the desire to serve righteously and humbly. May the Lord guide President Trump and his Cabinet each day as he and they serve his nation, granting them wisdom and discernment in all things. That also includes all his team as those who serve the American people. Amen.
