We must know to write a good paper we need to keep the pencil sharp.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 (MSG) thank God no matter what happens. This is the way God wants you who belong to Christ Jesus to live.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 (NLT2) Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.

The Bible has several repeated themes. One repetitive theme is very significant: GRATUITOUSNESS, APPREHENSIVENESS AND GIVING THANKS TO GOD AND FELLOW HUMANITY. We will never be grateful until we recognize God’s faithfulness. When we come with gratefulness we will walk in hope, joy, love, peace and contentment.

*GRATITUDE: is an emotion, the quality of being thankful, readiness to show appreciation, to return kindness, acknowledge good things that happen, TO GIVE OR RETURN KINDNESS,

Psalm 100:4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

Psalm 100:4 (NLT2) Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name.

Esther knew that to approach the King with a bad attitude could result in death.

IN THE CHURCH THERE ARE MANY TOOLS TO FOSTER LOVE. CAN WE SEE AND ACKNOWLEDGE KINDNESS OF OTHERS WITH A GRATEFUL HEART. WE OWE A GREAT DEBT TO OTHERS FOR THE GIFT OF KINDNESS.

If we never recognize the love of others. Gratitude is like a garden: there are benefits of gratitude.

OFTEN WE FIND GOOD THINGS THAT HAPPEN EVERY DAY WILL GO APPRECIATED AND UNNOTICED.

Do we take time to encourage others for the blessings we receive? Gratitude should be part of our daily routine

Psalm 136:1 O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Psalm 136:1 (MSG) Thank GOD! He deserves your thanks. His love never quits.

HOW OFTEN DO WE SAY THANK YOU? I APPRECIATE YOU? MANY SUGGEST A GRATITUDE JOURNAL.

Do we identify our blessings? There has been research that a GRATITUDE JOURNAL helps motivate and is a positive influence on a personal level.

Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

Colossians 3:15 (MSG) Let the peace of Christ keep you in tune with each other, in step with each other. None of this going off and doing your own thing. And cultivate thankfulness.

MANY ALSO SUGGEST WRITING VISITS, EMAILS, TEXT MESSAGES, CARDS, LETTERS AND PHONE CALLS HELPS US LIVE DAILY IN BETTER MOODS AND CAN HELP IMPROVE OUR MENTAL, PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL AND SPIRITUAL HEALTH.

Do we get too busy and forget to be grateful? HOW ABOUT PONDERING, THINKING, MEDIATATIONS of thanksgiving.

Psalm 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

LET US REALIZE THAT GRATITUDE HAS A DOMINO EFFECT. TOKENS, PRAYERS--- SMILES AND JOY

Helps build positive relationships and GIVES HOPE to others and to self. Gratitude brings benefits that are worth investing in.

Conclusion: WE MUST STAY SHARP AND BECOME WHAT GOD HAS PLANNED FOR US. Gratitude can help bring healing to families and individuals.

James 1:1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting. 2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; 3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. 4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. 5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

We must learn gratitude has a good impact on our emotions and it has a boomerang effect by lowering depression, worry, anxiety, stress and hopelessness. One that practices gratitude is more content in their daily lives.

Do we ever consider why God gives us breath to breathe?

Psalm 103:2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

2 Corinthians 4:15 For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.

Isaiah 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

Isaiah 26:3 (MSG) People with their minds set on you, you keep completely whole, Steady on their feet, because they keep at it and don't quit.

I have read that there have been medical studies that suggest practicing gratitude can help you with better moods, better sleep and even boast your immunity system. I believe this. Studies also suggest the lack of gratitude can increase worry, depression, anxiety and more trouble.

To those that GIVE GRATITUDE there is power to BRING ABOUT CHANGE. Being grateful HAS A ripple effect. Some have compassion make a difference.

Jude 1:22 And of some have compassion, making a difference:

HAVE AN ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE.
