UNDERSTAND THE JOURNEY: LORD, GIVE ME MY MOUNTAIN!

WE HAVE MANY OPTIONS AND OPINIONS AROUND US. WHOSE REPORT ARE WE GOING TO ACCEPT?
Isaiah 53:1 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?
Isaiah 53:1 (MSG) Who believes what we've heard and seen? Who would have thought GOD's saving power would look like this?
WE GOT THIS MY FRIENDS. YOU CANNOT DEFEAT THE NEGATIVE CROWD, YOU HAVE TO OVERWHELM THEM AND OUT LIVE THEIR TERRIBLE ATTITUDES. I AM NOW READY TO RECEIVE MY PROMISE…
Joshua 14:8 Nevertheless my brethren that went up with me made the heart of the people melt: but I wholly followed the LORD my God. 9 And Moses sware on that day, saying, Surely the land whereon thy feet have trodden shall be thine inheritance, and thy children's for ever, because thou hast wholly followed the LORD my God. 10 And now, behold, the LORD hath kept me alive, as he said, these forty and five years, even since the LORD spake this word unto Moses, while the children of Israel wandered in the wilderness: and now, lo, I am this day fourscore and five years old. 11 As yet I am as strong this day as I was in the day that Moses sent me: as my strength was then, even so is my strength now, for war, both to go out, and to come in. 12 Now therefore give me this mountain, whereof the LORD spake in that day; for thou heardest in that day how the Anakims were there, and that the cities were great and fenced: if so be the LORD will be with me, then I shall be able to drive them out, as the LORD said.
THERE IS A PROPHETIC MESSAGE: THE BAD REPORT TRIES TO DROWN THE GOOD REPORT? WHOSE REPORT IS RIGHT? LET’S BE HONEST: BOT REPORTS ARE TRUE… THE GOOD? THE BAD? THE ULGY?
Numbers 13:27 (MSG) Then they told the story of their trip: "We went to the land to which you sent us and, oh! It does flow with milk and honey! Just look at this fruit! 28 The only thing is that the people who live there are fierce, their cities are huge and well fortified. Worse yet, we saw descendants of the giant Anak.
Numbers 13:31 (MSG) But the others said, "We can't attack those people; they're way stronger than we are."
32 They spread scary rumors among the People of Israel. They said, "We scouted out the land from one end to the other—it's a land that swallows people whole. Everybody we saw was huge.
IN OUR OWN SIGHT? HOW DO OTHERS SEE US? AURA--- THE IMAGE WE PROJECT WILL DEFINE US…
Numbers 13:33 And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.
LIFE IS ABOUT YOUR WORDS, ATTITUDES AND DEEDS. WE TEND TO FOCUS ON WHAT WE CAN OR CAN’T DO… LET’S GO BACK.
Numbers 11:5 We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlick:
Numbers 14:1 And all the congregation lifted up their voice, and cried; and the people wept that night. 2 And all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron: and the whole congregation said unto them, Would God that we had died in the land of Egypt! or would God we had died in this wilderness! 3 And wherefore hath the LORD brought us unto this land, to fall by the sword, that our wives and our children should be a prey? were it not better for us to return into Egypt?
LET’S JUST HURT AND STONE THE PREACHER. PEOPLE SEEM TO LOVE TO BLAME OTHERS FOR THE WAY THEY ARE. LET US BLAME MOSES AND AARON.
Numbers 14:10 But all the congregation bade stone them with stones. And the glory of the LORD appeared in the tabernacle of the congregation before all the children of Israel.
YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR ACTIONS!
OUR GOD CAN HANDLE THIS PROBLEM. BE DIFFERENT MY FRIEND. DON’T JOIN THE NEGATIVE CROWD. BE CAREFUL WHOSE WORDS YOU LISTEN TO… BE DIFFERENT.
Numbers 14:38 But Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were of the men that went to search the land, lived still.
I AM NOT AFRAID OF THE GIANTS BEFORE US… GOD CAN! GOD’S PLAN WILL OVERCOME THE NEGATIVE CAN’T DO IT CROWD. HOW SAD WHEN THE ONLY WAY TO OVERCOME IS FOR THE NEGATIVE CROWD TO DIE?
Joshua 15:14 And Caleb drove thence the three sons of Anak, Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai, the children of Anak.
God had a plan from the foundation of the world… You are not a GRASSHOPPER. You are not a VICTIM YOU ARE A VICTOR.
Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
Philippians 4:13 (MSG) Whatever I have, wherever I am, I can make it through anything in the One who makes me who I am.
CONCLUSION: As the stones fell on Stephen, he never focused on the ROCK THROWERS and the angry crowd. Stephen never focused on the mob. He eyes focused beyond the eye sight of man. Stephen saw into the divine realm. Stephen saw into the THRONE ROOM OF GOD.
Acts 7:54 (MSG) At that point they went wild, a rioting mob of catcalls and whistles and invective. 55 But Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, hardly noticed—he only had eyes for God, whom he saw in all his glory with Jesus standing at his side.
LORD, WHILE THE NEGATIVE CROWD DIES IN THEIR OWN TRAPS… I AM NOT A GRASSHOPPER. I am a child of God standing on the promises. We must plug our ears to the negativity of people. I know God is about. I MAKE THE CHOICE TO FOCUS ON JESUS.
ABOUT WHAT I CAN ASK OR THINK. YES GOD IS ABLE.
Ephesians 3:20 (MSG) God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us. 21 Glory to God in the church! Glory to God in the Messiah, in Jesus! Glory down all the generations! Glory through all millennia! Oh, yes!
